Penumbra: Powers Awaken

Colt ran outside, seeing Ministry soldiers climbing out of the Depths, right onto the Penumbra Isle's shores. "Damn it... I'll take them!". He yelled over to Pat and Mat.

Seth and David entered the room on the right. They were immediately met with a yellow lightning bolt striking right into David's chest.
"AGHH!-" David yelped in pain as James pointed his gun at them still.
Seth glared at James. "What are you doing?!..."
"Doing what my family would've wanted." James answered coldly.
David held his chest in pain, pulling out his rapier. "To think you'd join the Penumbra corpse... what about our time in the prison?!"
James shot at him again. "I stand by what I said. If Cyrus was here right now, he'd do what I'm doing."
"Don't talk about him." Seth interrupted, swiping the ball of lightning to the side.
David pointed his rapier at James. "If you want to fight... so be it, 'Captain'."

As Pakki tried to move forward he was interrupted by a gun shot barely missing him.
"I wouldn't if I were you..." The man said, dropping down before Pakki.
Colt heard the noise, turning to look at the building. "That sound..."
"Hey, Colt! We don't have time for that!" Matthew yelled at him as he took out a ministry soldier trying to attack Colt from behind.
Pakki drew his katana. "Do you know what true art is?..."
The man scoffed, pointing his two pistols at him.
Pakki's katana started glowing as he darted at the man. "....An explosion!"

Faust walked into a room, scythe drawn as he glared at a man with a book in his hand inside.
The man narrowed his eyes. "Of course you'd split up... so be it, then. I'm Aiden."
Faust spun his scythe around. "Faust. The guy who's gonna rip your head off."
Aiden summoned a dozen or so mudskippers. "Oh? Will you now?"
Faust dashed towards the mudskippers, immediately severing one in half with a large slash. "So YOU'RE the source!"

Falco was in the courtyard of the building, preparing another massive wave when out of the corner of his eye, he saw a slight glow. As he turned his head, he was met with Kevin's railblade detonating at point-blank range, knocking him back.
"AGH-- Damn you..." Falco said as he got back up.
Kevin pulled his railblade to the side. "Yo... Falco."
Falco's eye twitched out of anger. "Kevin... Donnet!!" He grabbed onto his greatsword. "I hope you can comprehend that this time--"
Kevin interrupted him, his voice slightly distorted by his arcwarder armor. "It's gonna be the final round."

Their talk was interrupted by several blasts coming from the inside of the building.
The man Pakki was fighting suddenly flew out of a large cloud of smoke. "Close one, brat!" He said as he fired several rounds into the smoke.
Pakki's yelp of pain could be heard as the smoke cleared - the bullets hit him.
The man aimed a final one at his forehead before firing, no hesitation whatsoever.

David slashed at James several times, but James dodged them all before slamming David in the head with his Stormseye.
"Useless, David. I was the one who trained you." James said as he dodged a punch from Seth before knocking him away with a blast of lightning.
Seth was sent flying back into a wall, creating a small crater on it.
David pulled his rapier back, trying to stab at James again. "But this time I'm not fighting for the Legion..!"
Seth's eyes light up as he heard this.
James trapped David's blade inside his Stormseye's firing line, electrocuting him before pulling his hand back, forming a large Javelin. "If you're so willing to die for him... You will."
David smirked in pain. "Fine by me... Traitor..."
James threw the Javelin into David, which carried him away for a few meters, sending him to the Depths.
"NO!!" Seth yelled out as he pulled himself out of the crater.

Aiden focused on his book as Faust took out his mudskippers before summoning a dead-eyed black diver.
Aiden took a deep breath while Faust got back into a fighting stance after cutting through the last mudskipper.
The resurrected black diver slowly and unnaturally rose up.
"Heh, Get them..." Aiden said. "....Nathan."
