Cyrus desperately went around the Etrean Luminant, trying to find a spot to hide in. After a few moments he decided on taking over the Songseeker Isles.
Setting up camp near the entrance to the Etrean Luminant, the 11th Legion was now ready to take an attack anytime, with defenses set up.

Despite how heavy the tensions were, and despite the heavy opposing from all of his soldiers, Cyrus boarded a ship, completely alone.
He sailed to Etris, where he was immediately stopped by two soldiers.
"Stay where you are!" One said.
"Put down your weapons. All of them!" The other replied before gesturing to his fellow guard. "Go get Colt... He'll know what to do."
Cyrus simply obeyed the orders, waiting for Colt. "I came unarmed."
The soldier narrowed his eyes, refusing to trust him.

Colt soon arrived down at the docks. "Cyrus... What brings you here?" He said as he pushed the spear of his soldiers lower.
"....If you haven't figured it out yet... Seth is my son. It's complicated but-- I just wanna see him. I'm unarmed. I don't want to tell a secret plan to my soldiers, I won't even talk to them. I just want to check on Seth." Cyrus replied.
The guard scoffed. "That's bullshit! He's setting up an attack! We should detain him immediately."
"No. Let him talk to Seth." Colt said, looking at the guard.
"What?!... He's the commander of the enemy! If we take him out now, we essentially just won!" The guard responded.
Colt shook his head. "No way. He is the enemy's commander, and we could detain him. But he is also human. He's a father. Just like you."
"What if he convinces Seth to leave Etrea?!"
"Then he'll leave Etrea. I'm not going to force a kid to stay. If Seth wants to go, fine, but if he wants to stay, I'm also not going to let politics get in the way of family." Colt said. "No father should have to deal with a situation like this. No human should. But the best we can do is ease the pain. Enemy or not, they're people nonetheless."
The guard sheathed his weapon. "Fine... Come on then. I'll show you the hospital."

The guard led Cyrus to the hospital, where Seth was staying.
Seth immediately sat up when he saw Cyrus. "Dad?!- What are you...?!"
Cyrus walked over to him, sitting down beside his bed. "Hey... I wanted to check on you..."
"But how'd you even... Get in here?" Seth asked.
"Well, you can thank Colt for that." Cyrus replied. "How are you doing...? I heard you were in a pretty big fight."
Seth narrowed his eyes. "Yeah, I was.. Against some prick named Osric... Nearly killed the three of us. But I landed the Killer Combo."
Cyrus smiled a little. "And protected the three of you. .... I'm proud... ...Seth. What did he look like?"
Seth was a little taken aback. "His looks?... Well... He had generic clothes.... Y'know, a shirt and pants and boots... Nothing interesting. He had a coat but that's it, really... Why?"
Cyrus sighed. "That man you fought... Wasn't from the Legion."

"What'd you say?" The guard butted in.
"Osric. I have never met someone named like that - and I control the 11th Legion. I'd know if I had a soldier like that." Cyrus replied.
Seth tilted his head. "So who was he?"
Cyrus turned back to him. "That's... What I'm trying to figure out."
The guard walked up to him. "I don't believe you. I think you're just trying to cover up that you nearly got your son killed!"
Cyrus turned to the soldier. "South of Minityrsa, you'll find a collection of islands, with a previously unknown organisation on it. I don't know their motives, but I think they might be behind it."
The guard looked at him for a moment. "What?..."
"Down at the docks, I saw your maps. You haven't found them yet. They call themselves the Penumbra Corps. South of Minityrsa." Cyrus replied before turning back to Seth.

About an hour later, Cyrus left the hospital.
Colt was waiting outside. "What you said in there... Is it true?"
Cyrus nodded. "Everything. I'm not willing to lie in front of Seth. I want to get to the bottom of it. If those people were the ones that hurt him, then they're gonna have to suffer." He sighed. "Thank you, for letting me talk to him."
Colt's look softened. "Anytime..."

Later that same day, James was escorted to the same jail cell as David.
David sighed. "At least you're alive..."
James rolled his eye, the other one covered in an eyepatch. "... You too..."
David sat down on his bed. "So... I assume we don't want to stay here."
James looked out into the hallway. "No... We do not."
