The results of what is known as the Penumbra Drownings, were nearly catastrophical.
The Eleventh Legion lost it's leader, and the Authority lost an important captain, the one that was negotiating with the Kingdom of Etrea.Seth attempted to step up as the new leader of the Eleventh Legion, but the soldiers called him a traitor, refusing to accept him.
It seemed as though the war between Etrea and the Legions would never end - But David came back. With James missing, David was next in line to be the leader of the Eleventh Legion, and the soldiers gladly accepted him.
On the island of Erisia, two lines of soldiers lined up against one another. Colt and David both stepped forward and shook hands. This was the end of the war.
"I'm glad you chose this..." Colt said with a small smile.
David looked at Seth. "Yeah.. So am I..."
Seth looked in between them. "S-So is this it..? It's over...?"
Colt nodded.
David bent down to Seth's level. "You remember... When you first ran away, and I got really mad at you?"
Seth tilted his head in confusion. "Yeah?..."
David looked around. The sun was shining, birds were singing and flowers were blooming, just like back then. "I... Got mad because your dad got mad at me."
"What are you talking about?..." Seth mumbled.
"I took care of you, else... Well, your dad would get mad at me. But, he never hurt me. He was a good man, Seth. And after talking to James back there... I just want you to know. That I can't replace him. But this time, I'll take care of you for your sake. Okay..?"Weeks later, Pakki was looking at the memorial in the Etrean palace's garden. It was slightly darker than usual outside, the wind blowing slightly.
Colt walked out of the building, looking at him. "Oh?... What are you doing?..."
Pakki kept staring at the picture. "Dad took down the Ministry..."
Colt nodded, walking up behind him. "We did it together."
"But it didn't work. It wasn't perfect. There are still remains..."
Colt took a deep breath. "It's--"
"fine. I'm a Jäger. Just like dad. I'll take them out. All that remains of the Ministry..."
Colt looked at Pakki, a little concerned.
"I'll wipe it off the map."Kevin walked up behind Faust. "What are you doing?"
Faust looked back at him. "Practicing Bonemending...."
Kevin smiled a little. "I heard Seth and Pakki are pretty determined to end this... In their own way.... What about you?"
Faust looked at the training dummy. "...I don't know. Not yet, anyway. I'll figure it out as we go."
Kevin was a little surprised but nodded. "Alright..."In the Penumbra Isles, inside one of the buildings, Falco looked at 3 people standing before him. "You three... Are my strongest. Be on high alert... They'll be coming. And when they do, we'll end this. Once and for all. And then, when the Donnet, Kalinof, Ytreshi and Jaeger bloodlines are all wiped out... We can start working on the Tides again."
The man in the middle checked, making sure both his guns worked.
The on the left fixed his eyepatch.
Falco turned to the last one. "Is it ready yet?"
The man looked at a book. "Not yet... I can do an incomplete version. But that's it.""I wanted to ask you both for another favour..." Colt said to Pat and Matthew.
"Alright...? Is it gonna be any different from what we normally do?" Pat asked.
Colt shook his head. "Not really... Well, somewhat. We're planning to storm the Penumbra Isles... Because the Penumbra Corps are... They're like the second coming of the Ministry."
Matthew narrowed his eyes. "We'll take care of them..."
