I can stop, if I want to I can stop.

What a lie.

Matty Healy is many things.

But one thing Tommie always admired him for was his bluntness. His talent at saying any truthful thing. Never lying.

She watches him from across the room.

He's obviously high. She doesn't know on what, she doesn't care on what.

George is following him around, he got stuck on Matty duty.

And Ross got stuck on Tommie duty.

He follows after her, guiding her away from Matty everytime she starts his way, promises of drinks and pizza being delivered to the after party they're at.

She's annoyed, tired and bored, she wants to leave. But she's not moving until Matty's sat safely and sober on the bus.

She stops at the bar, eyes following Matty around the room, George is following him with his jacket, trying to convince him to leave.

"Tom-"

"No."

"Tommie-"

"Don't fucking speak to me, Ross."

George turns, nodding at them and then the door and they follow, Adam's outside, waiting by the parked up bus distracting fans from the others as they pile on.

Her phone buzzes and she's about to press ignore like she has been all night, but she sees the image of her and her nan as a kid at her aunts wedding and answers as her foot hit the first step of the bus.

"Hey, nan."

"Hiya, flower, how's tour going?"

"Alright, yeah, uh, just setting off on the bus now, going to try and catch some sleep. How's everything back home?"

"Your Granch has bought a dog." She tells her.

Tommie smiles, he'd loved Millie, her childhood dog like his own daughters, the dog meant everything to him.

"He's got himself the tiniest little yorkshire terrier, with a pink bow, carries her around when we go out shopping, looks like a right div."

Tommie laughs to herself, "Really?"

"No, I tried to convince him he wasn't having any of it. We're picking her up tomorrow, a little Jack Russel, he's named it Toffi."

She laughs again, "Toffi?"

Matty perls up at the sound of her laugh leaning slightly towards the open bathroom door as her steps get closer, she doesn't even glance at him, getting herself ready for bed as she continues to talk to her nan on the phone.

"Tom."

"Hmm?"

Her nan sighs on the other end and she straightens up a little more, "What is it? Everything alright?"

"We just miss you..." She settles on after a beat, "When you have a break you'll have to stay here for a few days."

"Okay, I can't wait."

"I'm sorry, Tommie."

Tommie's brows furrow, "For what?"

"Leaving you behind."

"Leaving me behind?"

"You were still a kid-"

"Nan-"
