"Who interacted with Riley today?" I asked once everyone was standing by my car.
Tom called the boys and I called the girls.
"I only talked to her once in the morning." Scarlett shrugged.
"About?" I asked.
"The masquerade ball. We were discussing about our outfits." She shrugged.

"Who else?" I asked.

"I just walked past her on my way to my room." Lucas said.
I was secretly observing Chloe. Since we started talking about Riley, she kept looking here and there. Signs of nervousness.

"I haven't seen her today." Isaac said.
I stared at Chloe. The whole time her eyes were either on the ground or the car behind me.
"I haven't seen her today either." Bella said.

"Chloe." I called.
She slowly looked at me.
"yes?" she asked nervously.
"Have you seen Riley today?"
She shook her head negatively.
"Are you sure?" I asked sternly.
She nodded slowly.
"You all can leave." I said while my eyes were still on Chloe. She was sweating and shaking. She knew something. And then I noticed something.

"Adam did you call All the boys as I asked you to?"
"yeah."
"Then where is-" I stopped talking once I saw Hazel still standing and looking at me chewing her bottom lip.

"Didn't I say to go in?" I asked her.

She nodded still chewing on her bottom lip. She only does that when she has something on her mind but she's on a debate with herself to whether say it or not.

"Then why are you still standing here?" I asked. I gave her time to decide.

She shrugged while still chewing her lip. I sighed throwing my head back and closed my eyes.
"Hazel go inside." I said.
She turned around to leave but didn't move. She was still deciding.

"What should we do?" Tom asked.
"I have one suspect in the house." I said.
"I saw her." Hazel said.
I walked to her and crouched down so I was in the same eye level as her.
"You saw Riley?" I asked.

She shook her head side to side.

"I saw Chloe talking to Riley. She and Riley went to the garden. But then Chloe came back alone. I asked her where Riley was, but she shrugged and ran to her room." She rambled.

"What if she's in danger?" Hazel asked innocently with fear.
I glanced at Tom who was also worried.
"I won't let anything happen to her." I said to Hazel.
"Promise?" she brought up her pinky finger.
"Promise." I hooked my finger with hers.

"Now I want you to go to your room and don't come out until everything was quiet. Okay?" I said.
"Are you going to hurt Chloe?" she asked.
"No. But promise me you won't come out of your room until you heard silence. Complete silence."
"Promise." She said and went inside.

"What now?" Tom asked me.
"Elijah. He's behind all of this and Chloe helped her." I looked at him.
"That's why the only boy who wasn't present, was Elijah." I said.
I walked inside with Tom following me behind.

"Where is your brother?" I burst in Chloe's room startling her.
"Wh-What?"
"Chloe don't act dumb. I know you helped Elijah to get to Riley. Now tell me. Where. Is He?" I said word by word.
"Is that true?" Owen said coming inside.
Chloe opened her mouth but nothing came out.

"You helped Elijah to hurt Riley?" Owen asked with a hint of sadness.
She sunk into her sit looking down and nodded.
"You're turning into Elijah." Owen muttered with disappointment.
"Where did he take her now?" I asked her.
