Dad left. I waited for ten minutes to make sure he had actually left the house. I slid off my bed and went to his room. I picked up his laptop and started digging. I wanted to find my sister. I needed to find my sister. I checked his files. Nothing. His emails nothing. I sighed signing out of his email.
As I was about to shut down his laptop I noticed something. Another email account was listed down. Same name as my father. What if this was the email he uses for his other identity? I clicked on it. My father had zero patience in memorizing stuff so I assumed he uses the same password for this email as well. And I was right. About both of them. His password and his email being used for his other identity. But no trace of my sister Daphne.
Ding.
One unread email.
It was from his lieutenant. I rolled my eyes and went to click on sign out but I saw Daphne's name on the new email. Curiosity took all over me and I clicked on it.
Oh no.
Daphne was a badass like me. A smile sat on my face.
But she needed my help. I knew she did. I should find her.
