His voice calms my body. His lips shuts my brain down. His touch ignites my soul.

I was doing nothing. I was just pacing back and forth in the library doing nothing. It's been exactly forty eight hours since I've found out the arresting date and I have done absolutely nothing. I don't care about others, well except for Hazel. But how was I able to arrest Niall? I couldn't. But I knew Tom would do it gladly.

"Glad to see someone else is fan of reading as well."
I jumped at the voice. I didn't hear anyone entering the place.
"Nova." I said breathing out placing my hand on my chest.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you, I was just not expecting anyone being here." She said laughing lightly.
I laughed waving her off.

"It's fine. And yes I am a fan of reading." I said.
She smiled joining me.
"Wanna know a secret?" she asked.
"Always." I winked and laughed. She laughed as well.
"This is my hiding place." She said.
"Hiding place?" I asked.
She nodded looking around with a smile on her face.

"Sometimes, when I feel too much pressure, I go to the library and hide away. Even back home, I hide in the small library I built for myself."
"What type of pressure?" I asked cautiously.
She looked at me in silence.
"You don't have to answer that. I overstepped. I'm sorry."
"No it's fine. It's just ... it feels nice ... to be asked that question." She said.

I have a feeling Nova was not who I thought she was.

"Wanna know another secret?" she asked smiling softly.
I nodded smiling lightly.
"I didn't want to marry Leo."
Oh.
"My father said I had to marry him. It's for everyone's best, including mine if I marry him."
I had no idea how to respond to that.

"I was never part of this stupid mafia world. I had my own life and my own dreams. I wanted to travel to Paris and open my own art gallery. My friend was going to help me, but my dream got crushed down. Whether I wanted it or not, I had to marry Leo."

"Why ... you had to marry Leo?" I asked feeling sorry for her.

"Apparently he had some business deals with my father and my father was failing doing his job. He had many depths to pay and we were running out of money. My father knew Leo had eyes for me so he told Leo if he forgives our money, he will let him marry me. My father also knew I didn't like Leo. He knew I didn't want to marry him, yet he sold me like I was an object." She took a shaky breath.

"Later on, Leo's eyes sat on someone else. He wanted a divorce. I wanted that too, but this time his father forced us to stay married. He also pressured us into bringing an heir for them. He has many heirs and yet he wanted one from us as well. I didn't want to bring a child into this family. Because I knew once that child turns one, they will take them away from me. And more than that I didn't want my child to be corrupted. I didn't want my child's hands get dirty."

I couldn't help but to notice she placed her hand on her stomach while taking another shaky breath.

"Did you abort?" I asked.

"I separated him from myself. When I became pregnant, I hid it from Leo and his family. Until my bump was becoming visible. I made a some excuses and travelled to my friend for the remaining of my pregnancy period. Once he was born, I gave him for adoption. I held him. I smelled him. And then he was gone."

I held her arm.
"I'm so sorry." I said genuinely.
She hugged me and cried silently.
I had to save two people now. First Hazel, and then Nova.

Nova made me promise not to say a single word about our conversation to anyone since no one knew about her child. I solemnly swore not to say a word to anyone. Unless she asked me to.
