On Wednesday night I lay awake in my bed. The closer I get to Monday, the more nervous I get. Will I be able to stay calm in the workplace while with Tweek?

His parents are working on a second location so they will be gone, leaving just us most days...

I turn to Stripe's cage. "I know you're rooting for me. I can tell you would much rather have him as your dad."

He squeaks at me.

I sigh. "You have a point. I have to do this."

My phone buzzes a few times. My friend group's group chat is blowing up.

I don't read everything, just the most recent messages.

Jimmy: How about the water park in Denver? It has an area accessible to disabled people.

Tolkien: We could go there, but Craig is the only one who would be able to drive us all there.

Jimmy: Then we just make him do it.

Clyde: He isn't going to be happy when he finds out we are volunteering him for this...

Tweek: Yeah, we should ask him first

Clyde: No. He'll do it if we ask nicely enough

I roll my eyes and begin to type. As I type, Clyde sends messages.

Clyde: He's arrived!!

Clyde: Drive us!!

Clyde: Pretty pleaseeee

Craig: To Denver? To go to a water park? Why the fuck are we going there.

Tolkien: We want to get in one last summer activity before it gets cold.

Craig: I dunno, it's a long drive...

Tweek: It will be fun! I just got a new swimsuit and everything :)

Craig: I'll do it.

Clyde: ;)

I swear to god if Clyde says something stupid here I'll kill him myself.

We end up making plans to go to the water park on Saturday morning. It could be fun I guess. I don't swim very often but I might as well enjoy my youth while I can.

Plus...

I smile to myself as I feel my face get hot.

My stomach starts to surge with a warm feeling.

"Damn it... again?"

-

On Saturday morning I pack my bag and get in my car. I have to pick up four people. Luckily all of us live pretty close. Tolkien is the only one who lives farther away.

I pick up Clyde first since he's the closest.

Clyde gets in the back seat.

"Clyde? Why aren't you sitting up front? You always take shotgun."

"An hourlong ride? Nah. You should be with your boyfriend."

"Shut up. He isn't my boyfriend."

"He will be~" He teases.

I slam on the brakes, sending him forward.

"Ack!"

"Watch what you say, man."

"Fine, fine."

We pick up Jimmy, then Tweek, then Tolkien.

Tweek sits up front with me after Clyde pressures him into it.

"We can stop at a gas station for a snack for the ride. Plus, I need gas."

Tweek takes out his phone. "Do you need navigation?"

"Please."

I actually know my way around but I want him to feel like he's useful. Plus I get to hear him talk more.
