"Ah!" Tweek flinches when he walks onto the steps of the lazy river. "Why is it so strong?"

"It's a current. It's supposed to just kinda push people around."

"That's dangerous! Ack!" He twitches.

He has come a long way, he used to twitch all the time but now he only does it when he's nervous.

"Here, Tweek. I'll help you in."

I hold out my hand and he takes it, squeezing tightly and putting most of his weight on me.

"Careful. Go slow." I tell him.

"Okay... okay I got this."

My heart races. I was able to help him calm down...

He continued to squeeze my hand until we got to a wall he could hold onto.

"Tweek, you're taller than this water, you don't need to hold onto the wall. See? I'm standing just fine."

"I'll hold on as long as I want to!"

"Okay."

A stray tube hits him in the water and his hand slips off the wall. The water begins to carry him downstream.

"AH!!!"

"Tweek, just plant your feet!"

"I can't! ACK!"

I sigh and start making my way over to him. The water moves fairly slowly so I can catch up without a problem.

I follow the blonde puff of hair as it travels.

I grab his arm and pull him up towards me, stabilizing him against myself.

"Ha... oh my god... I thought I was going to die..." He looks up at me and smiles. "Thank you for saving me."

I put my hand over his eyes. If he sees how red I am he will know everything.

"Why are you covering my eyes?"

"Just kinda felt like it."

"Okay..?"

"Do you want to get out?"

"Please."

I walk with Tweek over to the kitty pool area. We sit in the shallow water together.

He hugs his knees. "I... can't swim..."

"I know. That was obvious."

"Are you mad at me for lying?"

"No. It was cute that you were acting so prideful."

"Sorry..."

"It's okay..."

We sit in silence for a moment.

"Tweek?"

"Hmm?" He splashes his feet around in the water.

I take a deep breath. "Tweek, I uh... For a while now actually..."

An unsupervised child hits me in the back of the head with a life jacket.

"Ow! What the fuck?"

Tweek puts his hand on my shoulder. I calm down long enough to realize I was about to yell at a child.

"People need to watch their kids," I complain.

Tweek giggles.

"What is so funny?"

"I really thought you were going to explode. I was actually kind of scared. You don't get mad very often."

"Anyone would get mad at that."

"Yeah. That did suck. Anyways... What were you saying before?"

I look down at the rippling water. "Nothing."

I shouldn't have let Clyde convince me to try and confess today. This definitely isn't the right place. Plus the universe pretty much just told me not to.

I'll do it next time for sure.
