"Ok."
I reluctantly sit next to Tweek on the couch. He offers to share the blanket like we always do, but I refuse.
Tolkien hands everyone a can of beer. At least I have this to distract me.
I catch Tweek looking at me as I open my can.
"What?" I ask in a snappy tone.
"...nothing I guess..."
The movie we chose to watch was a personal favorite of mine. It's called Cabin in the Woods. I can recite most of it from memory.
Since I love it so much, I'm the only one who stays awake through the whole thing. Everyone else passed out from being too drunk.
Clyde is snoring really loud. It's bothering me, I'm starting to get a headache.
I quietly sneak upstairs to sit on the couch up there for a minute. The quiet is much needed.
"Craig?" Tweek says from the doorway.
I jump. "Jesus. Don't sneak up on drunk people on Halloween."
"It's not Halloween anymore."
"Oh..."
He's right. Its 1 am, the day after Halloween. We should have started this hangout way earlier so we could get through more than one movie.
Tweek sits next to me on the couch. Why is he doing this? Is he trying to upset me?
"Tweek, seriously... can't you just-"
"I know you're avoiding me."
"Excuse me?"
"We used to hang out a lot. You would go out of your way to talk to me. You stopped."
"Of course I did."
"How come?" He leans his head on the couch. His face is red, it's obvious he's intoxicated.
"Ha... because you rejected me. It makes sense that I'd distance myself, does it not?"
"No. It doesn't make any sense at all."
"That's bullshit."
"Let me finish... it doesn't make sense because I never rejected you. You never even told me you liked me."
"I actually did. I said exactly that."
"Weird... if you did tell me I'm sure I wouldn't reject you..."
"What?"
His hand traces my jaw. "Because I love you..."
"What are you talking about?"
"I think you're really cool..." he stares at my lips as he touches my neck.
"Tweek?"
"I want to kiss you."
"You're drunk."
"But you want it too... you just told me you liked me..." he looks up at me with pleading eyes. "Please... Craig?"
Oh god.
That feeling.
My stomach is spinning.
Fuck it.
I deserve this.
I grab his shoulders and pull him to me. He doesn't resist. He sits in my lap and wraps his arms behind my shoulders.
"I've been waiting for you to make a move..." He smiles at me lovingly.
