I'm working a long shift at the cafe.

Someone walks in, but I don't greet him like I normally would.

"Thomas... why are you here?"

"I came to- FUCK- ...talk."

"Tweek isn't going to like this."

"Where is he?"

"In the back. You have maybe 5 minutes."

He closes his eyes and takes a breath. "...I like you. You were one of the first people to not judge me when you realized I had a disability... I was so happy when I thought you liked me too. I... want to try."

"Thomas, I am not single. I won't be trying anything with you."

"... if things get messy between you two, you have my number. I'll be on your side. Even if you just need comfort or... anything..."

"You should leave. I don't want you here and if Tweek sees you he will give you another black eye."

"...my offer stands."

He walks out. His attempts to intervene are uncalled for. He must not see how hard I've worked for this, or how long I've waited. I wouldn't trade this for anything.

Tweek hugs me from behind. "Hey baby~"

"Hey, Honey. How was your break?"

"Good. It's your turn now. Do you want me to make you something?"

"Sure! I'm kinda feeling a parfait. Would you mind?"

"Of course not! Go ahead and chill in the break room, I'll bring it to you when it's ready."

"Thank you."

I take a seat in the break room and take a deep breath. I'd been standing for nearly 4 hours, I'm exhausted and my feet hurt. Why does this job hurt my feet more than construction?

Tweek brings in my parfait and sets it before me. "Enjoy! I'll be out there if you need me."

We share a kiss before he returns to the restaurant.

I smile at the parfait. He bent the stems of two cherries into a heart shape for me.

He might be the most adorable person on the planet.

I take a quick picture and set it as my Lock Screen. My Home Screen is a selfie I took with Tweek and I on our first date, we went roller skating.

This moment would be so perfect if I didn't have to see Thomas right before it.

I have a bad feeling about him. I get the idea that he won't back down as easily as I want to.
