"Craig? Come here for a moment." My teacher calls me to his desk at the beginning of class.

I trade a look with Tweek as I walk up. He seems interested in this as well.

"What's up?"

Our teacher doesn't even look at me. "You're wanted in the office."

"What? Why?"

"Don't know. Don't care. Go."

I roll my eyes and leave the classroom.

The first thing I noticed in the principals office was a mom and her son. Thomas.

"Thomas?"

"Hey, you remember me?"

"Yeah dude."

He smiles. "I'm relieved. I asked about you. I need someone to show me around so..."

"Oh! I'll gladly do that. I've been here for a long time now."

The principal hands me a hall pass. "Keep this with you."

"SHIT BALLS"

Man, if I could say "shit balls" to the principal I would be so happy...

"Let's get going, Thomas."

"Yeah."

Thomas follows me around as I point out all the different areas in our school. It's a very generic school building built in the early 2000's.

Once we get to his first period class I stop. "Do you have any questions before I go?"

"No I don't think so..."

"Cool. I'll see you at lunch, dude."

He waves and goes into his class.

The school bully is in that class. I hope he doesn't give Thomas a hard time.

When I return to my classroom everyone is talking. I guess the teacher didn't feel like teaching today.

I sit in my usual seat next to Tweek.

"What was that about?" He asks.

"Just some new kid who I was showing around."

"A new kid? Why did he start school so late?"

"Maybe because..."

Wait. I shouldn't just go around telling people about his disability...

"Because why?"

"Nothing. Don't worry about it. I did meet him before tho... yesterday."

Tweeks eyes grow cold. "Oh. That must've been fun."

I can't be sure, but I think he's looking at my neck.

"He's a cool dude."

"Uh huh..."

"You good?"

"Yeah."

He's being so weird.

The bell rings. "Oh, I'll see you at lunch Tweek."

"Okay..."

After second period I look at Thomas' schedule. I'm supposed to meet him and guide him to lunch.

"Thomas! Hey!"

He turns and his confused expression turns into relief. "Craig."

"Come on, I'll take you to the lunch room. You can sit with me and my friends if you're cool with that."

"Thank you for helping me today..."

"No problem. What are friends for?"

He smiles. "Yeah!"
