After a few hours, all of us decide it's time to go back home.

While everyone packs into the car, Clyde pulls me aside.

"Hey, did you tell him?"

"No. It's not a good idea to do it in such a public place."

He groans. "Grow some balls, dude."

"I have the proper amount of balls."

"Uh-huh."

"You are so annoying." I push him.

"Maybe. But you loooove me!"

I sigh.

"How about this... On Monday you should just slip a love note into his locker. That way you won't chicken out and you don't have to deal with the stress of doing it in person!"

I think for a moment. "Maybe... are you sure he would get it?"

"He goes to his locker every day after school to get his coffee. You know this."

"Right..."

"So write that note!"

"Okay..."

I get into the car. Everyone smells like chlorine. It's kinda nice.

Tweek turns to me. "Hey, do you need directions to get back?"

I shake my head. "Nah. I can get home."

"Okay."

Tweek puts on a playlist. Everyone in the car is fairly quiet because we are all exhausted.

We get to Tolkien's house, then Jimmy's.

While I drop them off, I notice that Tweek has fallen asleep with his head against the window.

I talk in a low voice so that I don't wake him up. "Hey, Clyde? I'll drop you off before Tweek."

"Oh?"

"Shut up."

We get to Clyde's house and he steps out. Before closing the door, he smiles. "Good luck, Romeo!"

"Just get out of here."

"Okay!" He gently shuts the door.

I drive in silence as the sun begins to set. I turned off the music so he wouldn't be disturbed. I can hear his breathing.

We arrive at his house a lot faster than I would've liked.

I stare at him for a moment. I want to kiss him.

I tuck his hair behind his ear. That is the most I am willing to do right now.

I gently nudge him. "Hey, wake up..."

"Ngh..."

"Tweek, you're home."

"Home..?" He sits up and rubs his eyes. "Oh yeah... Sorry, I fell asleep."

I laugh gently. "I could tell."

"How come you dropped me off last?"

"I wanted to let you sleep... You looked so peaceful."

"Ah..." He looks out the window. "Thanks, Craig."

"Yeah..."

He opens the door. "Thanks for today. I had fun. I'll see you tomorrow. Don't forget we have work."

"I wouldn't miss it."

He smiles his addicting and beautiful smile. "Good!"

I wait until he enters his house. He goes inside safe and sound.

"I love you..."

I take a deep breath and tap my forehead against the steering wheel. "I don't want to keep hiding it..."
