"Max what is that" I say as I walk into the hospitality and see max with a blow up pool
"It's for our new challenge with alpha tauri" he says
"Can we drown Yuki in it" I say as I drop my bag and phone and run over to max
"No Lynn you cannot drown anyone" Christian says
"Aww shame I would have loved to drown Pierre" I say
"So what is it really for"I ask
"You have to try and throw in objects from a distance" Chris says
"Boring I would rather be drowning Yuki and Pierre" I say
"Agreed" max says
"Not happening guys" chris says
"Max" I say
"Lynn" he replies
"Race is in 3 hours so we have about an hour to" I say before he cuts me off
"Eat candy and gossip" he says and I laugh
"Exactly let's go" I say
We run through the paddock and get screamed at by a few people for running and we stop behind some trailers haas ones I think and catch our breath before sitting down I pull out two pack of gummy bears and Hand one to him
"I preferred the cola ones from last week" he says
"Deal" I say
"So summer is literally tomorrow" he says
"Yeah I know you're going to Sardegna right" I say
"Yeah and you to Corsica with Pierre Charles and families right" he says and I nod
"So when is it" he says
"When's what" I say confused
"Don't be stupid you said you would talk in summer" he says
"Oh that yeah I will I'm ready" I say
"When" he asks
"Stop being invasive I know you're going to text all of this in your creepy group chat" I say
"Who told you" he says
"Pierre did on the anniversary" I say
"Oh right and your mom showed up right" he says and I nod
"It was te weird we haven't had a conversation in 7 years and she just shows up" I say
"At least she wants to try my dad shows up every once in a while and doesn't talk to me"he says
"He's so scary max he said hi to me yesterday I felt like he would threaten my life or something" I say
"Yeah he can be like that but he told my he likes you" he says
"Jules told me he would speak to him when we were in f3 races and stuff and he was really intimidating" I say and laugh
"My dad liked Jules he thought he was a smart man" he says
"He was" I say
"It's ok Lynn" he says giving me a short side hug
"Yeah I know it gets harder each day" I say
"Enough sad talk when is it" he says
"Ok stop with the arrogance uhm I'm not sure I thought maybe on the first night maybe it's a bit bold but if it goes well we enjoy the summer together and if it doesn't well I drown myself in the Mediterranean" I say
