It all began four years ago when she first met him. Between all the chaos of the classroom, her eyes were fixed on just a person. She didn't know his name and nothing about him. Yet he had a positive aura, and something it was so mesmerizing about him. She was staring at him for too long I guess, cause he felt it and turned around and looked straight into her soul. She stared at him from afar, her heart racing, her mind filled with curiosity. His captivating eyes made her feel a tingle of excitement in her veins. Who was he? Should she go up and introduce herself? Her thoughts and emotions ran wild as she took in his presence. As she took her seat, she noticed them: The popular kids. She had heard about them, and the thought of being close to them made her nervous. , she couldn't help but feel out of place.
Suddenly, the class teacher announced that she was changing the seating arrangement, and she felt relief as she saw she was being moved to the back of the room. She hoped she would be able to stay hidden there, away from the spotlight. But she didn't expect what would happen next. Her place had been changed next to his . Yet, she felt nervous as he sat next to her; they hadn't spoken much before.
But at least now, she had a chance to get to know him better. Her heart fluttered as he turned to face her, giving her his cheeky signature grin, his deep brown, sparkling eyes staring right into her soul. Her cheeks turned to a hot blush as she looked away, feeling a rush of emotions like she has never felt before.
The classes began. Mr.Antonio, made her give a small introduction about where she came from and who she was.
Days past on and she realised that how much mischief was hiding behind that cheeky grin, for he would find a way to randomly annoy her. She found this funny as he was really popular and he had no reason to talk to her but he would treat her just as one of his closest friends.
Gloria POV :
"Dean"she fakes a glares looks at at him while he her with an apolegetic yet a impishness Smile. I swear if you take my pen once you more,
I am gonna complain to the teacher" you whisper"Oh come on, Aren't you supposed to be a being a good friend now and help me ?" he asks trying to Vulnerable.
"Not if i have only one pen and you take it away "I mumble as he chuckles on the remark.
I roll my eyes "Ugh fine last time, huh? "
"I like this pen a lot" he smiles as I sigh and continue writing with had just pen borrowed from a nearby student .He might not have been my best friend, but we still spoke in class. It was just me and him, without his popular friends. He made sure I felt comfortable with him, which I really appreciated. He was kind, and made it easy to talk to him, even though I was kind of shy. When he wasn't distracted with his bigger group, it was nice to have his full attention on me. I wanted to get to know him better, although I wasn't sure where to start.
" I wasn't the girl every boy noticed but I was the girl he noticed and to me , that was everything."
