Moiya Marlune strode ahead, her focus on retaining the emerald forcefield surrounding herself, Rhys and Jacquelle. The Angelic sphere engulfing the trio gave everything surrounding them a green tinted look.

The grass-filled valley they trudged across had given way to dirt and sand. The trio's feet slightly sank into the soft ground with each step, the grains shifting to cover their shoes. Once they reached the edge of the cliffside, the three friends stared in awe at the sparkling blue Valtic Ocean, its fantastic glassy surface stretching to the horizon and beyond.

The air smelled salty with a hint of fish, and the cool breeze ran through everyone's hair, twirling and twisting the strands as it passed by. Far below the cliffs were the crashing of waves against the rocks, their roars echoing in every direction.

Moiya glanced over her shoulder, expecting to see the Casmerahn soldiers still on their heels.

"They didn't follow us," Rhys assured her.

"Good," Jacquelle huffed. "It had better stay that way."

"It's just odd that they retreated," Rhys murmured, his voice contemplative. "I wonder if they gave MagiCorp a heads up about our location..."

Moiya grimaced at the thought of Elemental Magic wielders coming after them. "That sounds very likely, unfortunately."

The three friends stopped in their tracks when they noticed Moiya's forcefield dimming down until it faded away completely.

"Jacquelle, you're next for saying that spell," Rhys said, his crimson eyes scanning the horizon once more, his cat-like ears up and listening. "So far we're alone, but that could change any second."

"I'll zap anyone who tries to get close," the blond stated with one hand raised in the air. "They're not getting through me."

Rhys cracked a grin at the blond's cockiness while Moiya shook her head.

"Hopefully we won't have to zap anyone else," Moiya sighed, her emerald gems wandering to gaze at the island sitting off the coast. A huge off-white facility stood within its center surrounded by blood-red trees.

"That has to be MagiCorp," Rhys said, his tone contemplative. "I figured it would be large but that building looks huge. I can only imagine how easy it would be to get lost in there."

Jacquelle pointed at the foliage surrounding the corporation with a pale hand. "I bet those are Blood Oaks."

"That's literally Soraya's worst nightmare," Rhys breathed, his jet black eyebrows furrowing together. "I hope she's okay."

"Same," Jacquelle agreed. "I hope we'll be okay, too."

"Blood Oaks only attack if we get too close to their roots," Moiya spoke up. "But even so, we can use Angelic spells to avoid them if we have to."
