Jacquelle stared at the spot Moiya had been standing in seconds before, her jaw nearly hitting the sand beneath her feet. "Rhys!" she exclaimed. "Did you see that?"

"Jai," the Shadelkin whispered, his crimson eyes wide with shock. "She disappeared."

"Angelic Magic is so unpredictable," Jacquelle grumbled. "What the heck happened?"

Rhys placed the tips of his fingers on his lower lip. "Angels are messengers for the Gods. Maybe it's still a communication spell, but it transports you."

"Transports? Like you just pop up somewhere else?"

The Shadelkin nodded. "Think about the holy texts from the Path. Angels appear out of nowhere to deliver news. They usually say something like, don't be afraid, upon arrival."

"Then let's try it," the blond stated while rolling up her long sleeves. "Tw-eh-la-po-ah-th-i-ah!"

The vision within Jacquelle's right eye went dark. It reminded her of when her mother would lock her in her room whenever she disobeyed and she shivered at the memory.

Rhys recited the Angelic Spell and held still as the Magic took effect. "Moiya and Valor are both in MagiCorp," he confirmed after searching the building ahead of them. "But I don't see Soraya or Jonathan's souls in there."

Jacquelle noticed Moiya's emerald green ball of flames next to Valor's ruby sphere of fire and placed her hands on her hips.

"Why aren't Soraya and Jonathan there? Where are they?"

Both she and Rhys spun in circles, staring every which way in the hopes of finding their friends.

"We can only see the souls of those we've fused with," Rhys frowned. "Soraya can see other Demons, but we can't without her. I can see Ujuu and Zaruna's souls back West..."

Jacquelle glanced over her shoulder and found the Shadelkin had also disappeared without a trace, just like Moiya.

"Rh-Rhys?"

A lump formed in the back of the blond's throat.

I'm alone... They both abandoned me! Those jerks!

Panic rose within Jacquelle's chest.

I don't want to be alone!

The blond thought about Soraya, hoping to somehow find her sky-blue soul floating somewhere within the void which was now the vision within her right eye, but it wasn't there.

What about Krista? Can I find her?

Jacquelle knew her twin sister had the same color eyes as her and spun around in a desperate attempt of finding a midnight colored sphere, but nothing turned up.

She's a Demonic Hybrid now, so I guess Rhys is right. I can't contact her with this Angelic spell.

There was another Etherian she desperately wished she could see again, but she dared not say his name aloud.
