niki was alone most of his life, and at this point, he was used to it. but, as soon as sunoo appeared in his life, his perspective of life completely changed.

there was niki spacing out in biology class. they were talking about some kind of plants- well, definitely something that made niki bored. he didn't have the same classes as sunoo for quite a long time today. and he had a feeling, like he missed him.
but it's just unnaceptable! he can't start to care about sunoo.. he just couldn't and he shouldn't. and why, you ask?
it hurts seeing the one you love getting hurt by you. And niki was 100% sure that will happen, some day. so, it obviously was better to stay away from the older.
sunoo's behaviour towards niki, didn't help at all, though. he made niki soft everytime he was with him, and that didn't need to happen. it never should've, but it was hard since he was the first person to even care about him, to look out for him and to prove that he could be trusted, it's just- too hard.
sunoo was the only one niki had.
he bit his inner cheek and looked outside the window. it was a warm day, as the sun wasn't too hot, it seemed like a weather sunoo would enjoy.
niki plastered a little smile on his face at the thought of sunoo but he immediately shook his head, refusing to start liking him even more.
"mr nishimura, are you paying any attention?" the teacher asked and niki stopped, raising his head from the bench.
"u-uhm, yeah" he managed to say, trying to sound as convincing as possible, which, he miserably failed.
the teacher sighed in frustration. "come on, niki. this is the nth time i'm saying this. pay more attention!"
niki tried not to roll his eyes, just nodding. "yea, i'm sorry, sir."
the teacher shook his head, and went back to explaining the students about plants, and stuff.

the boy packed his bag, since the lesson was over and watched people silently with the corner of his eyes leave the class. he put his bag on his shoulder and slowly went towards the exit door.
once arriving in the hallway, people were mostly getting their books from their lockers and chatting. now, niki was looking for a person, which, he should meet up with at his locker.
