niki was alone most of his life, and at this point, he was used to it. but, as soon as sunoo appeared in his life, his perspective of life completely changed.

the next day everything went by smoothly. sunoo met up with his friends from the old school, he had fun and his day was great overall but he haven't gotten any message, call or anything from niki which immediately made him feel a little bit off. he didnt think he'd ever feel this attached to someone. and that someone doesn't even seem to care, in most situations. he is just so indiferent about everything that it kind of makes sunoo mad he doesn't notice the things he is doing for them to get closer.
niki also hasn't been to school today and sunoo felt a little lonely even though his friends yeji, hyunjin and lia came to him. they all had to clean the school's garden and make it look fancier so you'll go to school ''happier'' said the teachers. but, how can you work in peace if the trio kept on talking and asking stuff? it was annoying sunoo so much to the point where he wanted to go to the teacher and ask him to change teams.
''i dont think i can do this anymore'' yeji dramatically sighed and sat down on the ground. hyunjin rolled his eyes at her ''we ain't going to do your part of work, so either you clean up too, either you'll stay alone here cleaning until the teachers leave.'' he said. yeji sighed and whined ''i'm just taking a little break, gosh.''
hyunjin shrugged and continued to search for any garbage while lia was picking up the leaves from the ground and sunoo had to get all the trash bags to a place where all of them were placed. yeji kept on looking at them working and then averted her gaze at the other people. "the teachers must be so happy, they're doing nothing" lia looked over at them too. they were all standing in a corner, drinking coffee and laughing with eachother. "their life must be great in this moment" she complained.
sunoo's lips formed a thin line as he sat down on the cold ground, and waited for hyunjin to fill another trash bag. yeji came closer to him and smiled "have you got tired?" she asked and sunoo ignored her gaze, looking at the ground and after some time, he slowly nodded.
the girl frowned, realizing something is wrong. his usual mood isnt like this; he is always smiling, laughing and is full of energy, but today.. its different. yeji bit her lip, staring away too. maybe she should ask him what is wrong, because sunoo is obviously not okay in this moment.
"you.. are you okay, sun?" she turned her gaze at him and stared at his face, waiting for an answer. he looked over to her too. "mhm" he confirmed, "why would i not be?"
yeji stared at him, unconvinced that sunoo was truly okay, because it can be seen that he is not. he's not talking, he has that cold face on, and he looks bored; well for sunoo, its impossible to be bored so that's what makes yeji think he isn't doing okay.
"you can tell me the truth, you know" she muttered.
now, sunoo was conflicted. even he doesn't know the truth, and it upsets him so much. he wants to know what's going on in this whole situation, he wants to know what is going on in his own mind, because.. he can't understand anything. it's so messed up, nothing makes sense anymore.
