niki was alone most of his life, and at this point, he was used to it. but, as soon as sunoo appeared in his life, his perspective of life completely changed.

"so that means you're not safe. it's not only jake who targets you." niki confessed, to which sunoo replied only with a shocked face. never has he ever thought he would find out this much stuff in just a day.
what was even happening? this wasn't good. if he saw a scene like this in movies he'd feel bad for the characters that are going through this. but its.. real life, sunoo. it's real life. someone wants you dead. someone who you didn't even expect.
was he even that important that someone would rather see him dead? it's not like he harmed someone or something. he could never make people feel bad because of him.
what did he do?
"its not your fault." niki reassured him, by putting his hand on his shoulder and his lips curving up, in a smile that didnt mean happiness, joy or anything of that category. this time.. it looked full of false hopes.
they didn't have hopes, did they?
oh.
"its.. they're taking revenge for my past actions. im not an angel either, sunoo. i did some mistakes" niki gulped as his hand slipped from sunoo's shoulder. the older frowned and continued to look at the latter with a confused face.
"that's the only reason i didn't want you near jake." niki explained "im not the type to tell you who you should talk to and who not, but him.." the younger bit his lip and shook his head.
sunoo now understood. and he hated himself for thinking all those stuff about niki. he was an asshole, because niki is still niki. the niki he knew ; funny, quiet, attentive. just a different past.
"yeah, i got it" sunoo whispered "im.. im sorry." he gulped and looked back at niki who smiled a little again. "no worries, im just glad nothing happened to you"
sunoo took a deep breath and looked around, still shocked about all the stuff he got to know today. it's too much. its like the life he lived until now was just his imagination. his mind made it up, for him to think that he was living a normal life. but in the end, he had to see the truth, somehow. so, this happened.
"why did it take you so long just to tell me?" the pink haired boy asked in a low tone, his hand going towards a frame with a picture in it, and got it in his hand "i knew you would be freaked out by it, imagine someone telling you that they're a vampire and you're in danger now" niki said, while sunoo was brushing the dust off the frame with his sleeve, and not really paying attention to the younger. he looked at the old-looking photo, which contained four people standing in a line, from the tallest to the shortest one. while looking at the faces of those people, he only recognized one ; the boy who was standing next to him right now. it was a young niki, who was smiling with his eyes too. he was standing straight with his arms clasped in front of him and the third one in line. the fourth one was a girl, who wasnt looking at the camera ; instead, she was looking at niki, maybe laughing at him. they both looked like they were laughing. she was wearing a dress and had a flower in her hand.
