niki was alone most of his life, and at this point, he was used to it. but, as soon as sunoo appeared in his life, his perspective of life completely changed.

that made sunoo's whole world stop, and look at niki's face in surprise. was he being serious right now?
he scanned the younger's eyes, which were full of tears that were almost coming out, but he held them in, with a frown.
he was being serious.
a vampire liked him.
niki likes him.
those felt like two different realities.
niki, the calm, affectionate, caring guy.
the vampire, a creature - a monster, a ruthless being.
sunoo could finally move again. he gulped as he stayed still, looking at the latter. with shaky lips, he tried to utter a word — anything. but nothing came out of his mouth. his stare averted towards the floor, trying to process everything that has happened until now. niki, a vampire, his entire story, his traumas and his love for sunoo.
that's the opposite of what sunoo expected.
"are you going to leave me too?"
the younger mumbled, as his tears finally escaped his eyes. he looked broken, while uttering those words. it felt as if he forced himself to do so.
why did sunoo's heart break hearing that?
he lied, and sunoo, like an idiot, believed all of that — but, it was all just for him to be safe.
could he really be mad at niki?
this poor guy who only wanted someone to be by his side?
niki, noticing that sunoo wasn't saying anything, took a deep breath in, and nodded. turns out he had his hopes high for nothing, he was just like everyone else. the black haired boy sniffed, and tried to wipe his tears.
"stupid me, who actually thought you'd stay" niki smiled in sadness, through tears.
sunoo shook his head slowly, his head starting to hurt. all of this was making his brain exhausted. too many informations at once.
as much as he wanted to speak to niki, telling him that he wouldn't leave him, the fear was consuming him. the red eyes, the fangs, the stare they have while looking at you, it was all there. and niki had it too.
the latter saw how he had no idea what to do, or say, so he sighed. "you're free to go, if you want to." he bit his down lip before continuing "forget about me"
sunoo frowned and finally managed to shake his head normally. "i can't do that, do you really think i can forget about you?"
niki took an annoyed breath in "stop giving me false hopes" he said with a shaky voice.
to that, sunoo went quiet again. did niki really think he didn't mean anything to him? sunoo felt like he was slowly being distroyed in the time period he had those arguments with him.
