First day

When I woke up I was so excited. Today was my first day of work as a Stellaron Hunter.
I have been working for Elio for a while now, but I was a galaxy ranger. It's not the best job there is honestly.
As usual I was struggling with my hair but I didn't have to be late, or else I was done for. I almost didn't sleep because of my excitement.
« Should I tie them ? »
« I look so messy... »
Once I was done with the fight between me and my hair I had to choose my outfit. Yet, it was another one.
I heard they were going to give me one but I had to look correct for my first day of meeting them.
Oh, right. Who ?
Kafka, Blade and Silverwolf. They were going to be my colleagues. MY COLLEAGUES ! I feel like I am dreaming.
They are renowned in Elio's HQ and everyone knows them. They are like heroes in our eyes. And now I feel so privileged !
« Ugh... » I felt like dying when I had to pick my outfit, whatever I shall take my usual working fit.

Tick tock.
Damn, I'm going to be late. I rush out of my house and close the door quickly. Thanks to the Anchor that was near my house I could directly teleport to the meeting room, or at least in the building.
« Almost there... »
Suddenly I hear voice coming from the corridor I was in and I spot Kafka and Silverwolf chatting. I am so nervous.
« Oh~ if this isn't our new recruit. » Kafka said.
She saw me ? How ? I guess with her renown I shouldn't wonder.
I felt my cheeks burn a bit.
« It's—Its nice to meet you. »
She walked up to me followed by Silverwolf.
« You look nervous, little one. Do not worry, we aren't here to eat you. » she said in a smooth and reassuring tone.
« I know, sorry. » I extended my hand for them to shake.
« Nice to meet you, Y/N, was it ? » Silverwolf was chewing a gum and made a bubble right after her sentence.
I nod and notices that Kafka already left.
« You'll get used to her leaving quickly. She's probably going to check if Blade is here. » she said shrugging while checking her phone.
« Ah, alright. »
« Follow me. » She started to walk away, always on her phone totally uninterested by her surroundings.
« I'll take you to the meeting room and we'll do the basic stuff. Kafka will explain. » Her bubble popped as we arrived in the room.

BADUMP

I met his eyes. God. Did my heart skip a beat just now ?
« Guys, the newbie's here. » She sat on a chair and started to play on her phone in an aggressive way.
Kafka sighed.
« That is not a polite way to introduce someone, Silverwolf. »
she turned her gaze back to me, she was sitting very elegantly while i was standing there, stunned.
« We met already, little one. Here you have Blade. » she smiled and gestured me to come towards him.
« Nice to meet you, Blade. » My voice was totally shaking.
His piercing gaze met mine once more.
« ... » He nodded simply as he was holding a sword.
What was I expecting ?
« Good, now i'll starts the explanations for you. » she winked at me and gestured for me to sit down.

One hour later

Basically, I was starting today. I was going with Silverwolf while Blade and Kafka were going together. It was an usual patrol around a planet.
I met Blade's gaze at least 10 times, he looked pissed. I shouldn't concentrate on that. It's stupid.
« Little one ? » I heard Kafka's voice. I zoomed out.
« Yes..? »
« I said you can go, Silverwolf left already. » she sounded nice but strict right now.
« Alright...sorry. » I got up without thinking and left the room, embarrassed. I didn't even know where to go. I zoomed out after twenty minutes. I'm doomed.

Is it how it will start for me...?
