I looked around, nobody. I messed up. I started to run in the building and looked around if there was anyone at least. « Hey. » It was a cold and low voice. Blade. I turn around my heart pounding in my chest and gulps. He didn't greet me, he called me. « You didn't listen, did you. » he sounded pissed. « I did... » A lie, seriously ? For my first day of work ? « Do you even know where to go ? » He got me. I responded by an heavy silence filling the air. He sighed loudly and rolled his eyes. « There is a portal that we opened for you in the meeting room. Why are you here ? » That wasn't a real question and I knew it. He was standing there, his tall figure looking down on me. « Oh...I—» « Don't be a burden and get to work already. » His voice got louder and his tone was harsh. How come I messed it up already ? Well, I shouldn't give it up. That was a mistake but I shall repair it by proving that I can do anything. I'm glad he went after me. « I'm sorry, I'll head there right away. » I tried to look as proud as I could. He glanced menacingly at me, he was so different from Kafka. A portal opened besides him and he left, silently. When entering, I felt like my body was being pulled. As a galaxy ranger, I am not used to this kind of things, we usually take the Anchors. I felt the excitement again. I opened my eyes, I was in a place that looked like a spaceship. « Finally. » It was Silverwolf, she was yawning but didn't have her phone in her hands. « Where are we ? » « In the Herta Space Station. Kafka will explain later, you'll ask her about the things you're curious about. » « Alright, what's the mission ? » I hoped they didn't mention it. « I am going to hack into their system to get some informational stuff. Basically, if Herta herself does not interfere in this little game, we're good. » « You will cover me. » she said quickly after. « Understood. » « Dont be so formal it feels weird. » She scoffs as she walks away. « Don't let them see us, let's knock down anyone who takes a glimpse of us. » I nod and follow her, trying to be as swift as she is. Luckily, nobody saw us and we got into the data room pretty easily. Just a bunch of monsters but it went smoothly. « Damn. They almost got me...I'll have to transform the security into a game. » I heard some noise, poeple were coming. « Hey, Silverwolf—» « I know. I'm almost done. » She was concentrated and typed really fast. The door suddenly opened and barged in a grey haired guy with a lance, a pink haired girl and some guards. Before I knew it, Silverwolf grabbed me and we ran into a portal again. We were teleported somewhere else in the station. Silverwolf was tagging on the walls, it made me giggle a bit. « Do not touch anything. We're in the simulation I created. With that, they can't bypass us. » « Alright. » That was impressive. « We have to follow what the script says. Let's go back. » « Already ? » « It has already been more than an hour. » she said while chewing. « Are the missions always short ? » « Trust me, you don't want them to be long. It means trouble. » We soon approached another portal and went through it again. Here we were, back. In front of us in the meeting room there was Kafka and Blade talking really close to each other. It felt like we were interrupting something. My heart aches. « Oh~ Welcome back Silverwolf and Y/N. » She said in her usual smooth voice. Blade ignored me. He didn't even bother, he just left the room.
After I asked many questions to Kafka, I was about to go home when she sent me a message. "Hi, Y/N. I just wanted to inform you that in a month we'll hold a party between Stellaron Hunters. Don't forget to join us~" I smiled and kept walking until I teleported back near my house. I'm so curious of what will happen tomorrow and the other days. I feel great.
It now has been three weeks since I started working for Elio (as a Stellaron Hunter) and I got to experience many things. Yesterday I was able to go alone on a mission and got praised by my hard. They gave me a new outfit to work with.

But today was a « difficult » day. I get to work with Blade in a mission for the first time. Kafka really precised the fact that it was because « They didn't have the choice, and they couldn't let me slack off alone. » The more I got to work with her, the more she became bitter with me. She also noticed I had a slight crush on Blade. I feel like since then, they got closer. Whatever. I arrived at work early and noticed Blade. He was always so early, and I feel like he'll get pissed by the fact I arrrived less early than him. He opened one of his eye as he had his back on the wall while standing. « Good morning. » He glanced down at me. « Let's go. » I looked down and felt my heart ache. He opened a portal and went in it. « Where—» He was gone. Damn it. I followed and got pulled in as usual. I looked around. It was a Luofu. Blade was there walking away. Why was he acting this way with me ? I ran to him. « Where are we going ? » I said out of breath trying to meet his gaze. He looked at me with his judging and merciless expression. « Didn't they give you the script ? » He said coldly as he kept walking. « Ah, yes... » I feel my cheeks burn as I activate my hologram watch to check. I keep walking and suddenly I bump into someone, too focused on watching my watch. Blade groaned in anger. « I'm sorry. » I looked at him and saw him frown. Days by days, the missions got more and more dangerous, so I had to be prepared. After that, we fought a few monsters. Suddenly we approached a place which had a mesmerizing view on the Luofu. From afar we could see a big tree. Most of the travel was quiet and the sound of our steps could be heard. We could soon here a metallic noise, and a robotic voice. Oh.My.God. At that moment I wasn't ready to see that. A big robot with a kind of house roof on the head, red and with a glowing cylinder as a weapon. It was at least 3 times our height and it stood right on our way. Blade ran to it, his sword in his hand. I had to follow, even if I was very scared. I never faced that. It was the first time that I saw Blade fight. I was mesmerized by him. I can't dream right now. I take out my shoguns and started to aim on its weak points. We've been fighting it for 10 minutes now, from what I was seeing it was almost down, so was I. I took a few hits that hurted me. Blade in the contrary looked fine and almost too fine. He gave hard hits on the machine when mine just breaks its shield. « Ugh... » I breathed hard as I kept my guard up, weakly. Finally, Blade gave the final slash and the machine made horrible broken noise. It became very red, a burning red. Oh, it was burning. « Get away from it ! » Blade shouted from afar. Since when did he left ? It was the first time I heard his voice so clearly. « Huh...? » I turned back and noticed, it was going to explode. I was only a few inches from it. Now, was it too late ? Why is my body frozen ? Oh, yeah. I over did it. The pressure on the machine grew. The light of it was reflected on my eyes. I felt like my body was going to give up when I felt someone grabbing me and forcing me to run. Blade ? « Why do you have to be such a pain ? » He snarled as he was running. « Sorry. » My voice was almost like a whisper. My legs were giving up when he grabbed me painfully by under my arms, and lifted me in his. Before I realized it, we were sent flying by the explosion. When I came back to my senses, I was half deaf from the shock and Blade was on top of me. Our body were holding together. My face was against his torso, his hand behind my head and the other holding me by the waist. I felt his cold breath on my neck. What was happening ?
