"Restricted time?"

"I started calling it that, dahil kapag nagpplay ang series at involved ang character ko. I can't move even if I wanted to."

"That's scary," bulong ko dahil dinalhan na kami ng tsaa ng servants.

I think its one of the laws of entering a completed story. The ones who got the main characters are restricted so they can't change the plot."

"And what happens if someone got inside and became the extra?" Kuya Maxel smirked when he said that. "We don't know what one person can do."

"I'm not changing the plot."

I said what I said.

I know Kuya. He was implying that I can change it and that I should.

"Why not?"

"Who knows what would happen to me. Or to you? This is a dangerous place, kuya. The plot itself of Black Juniper is a quicksand. It was tagged violence for a reason. You don't change a plot when it has themes like violence and gore."

And then he laughed like I said something funny.

"Who knows malay mo mag-iba ang genre, Daisy. And I think possessing an extra is a power in this world where main characters are restricted to do anything beyond the plotline."

Kuya Maxel was a responsible brother but he has always been fearless of the unknown. I find it risky. This personality of his.

"I haven't even told you. That I experienced multiple time jumps. That any minute, kuya, baka malipat na ang scene sa focus ng plot. We don't really have time for your ridiculous suggestions."

"Time jumps?"

"Yes, 'wag mong sabihing walang time jumps sa'yo mababaliw na talaga ako!"

Napatayo si kuya at napalakad palayo. Tapos bumalik. He's stressed.

"I've never had time jumps. No matter what happens tuloy ang araw sa akin. That's gonna be a problem then. Pero buti na lang nakausap kita. So we know what to do."

Napaisip si kuya at napainom ako ng tsaa. Hanggang sa naupo siya ulit.

"But I think time jumps wouldn't happen to you if you're around main characters, not just protagonists, including the ones that had a role inside this series. Kasi kung... let's say nag-time jump ka, bigla kang mawawala ng parang hangin?
Gano'n ba 'yon?"

"That I don't know. I would blink and then iba na ang ang scene. Example matutulog na ako tapos biglang magsswitch ang scene sa banquet. And the impact on me would be too much. Sobrang bigat ng force ng gravity or something every time na mag-tatime jump ako. My ribs felt like they were squeezing my lungs and parang bumagsak ang mabigat na gravity sa akin."

"And here I thought being an extra is a godsend. I'm sorry you had to go through that, Daisy."

"Then I still think hindi ka biglang magtitime jump kapag nasa paligid ka ng mga restricted characters. It would be weird, even now lalo na hindi kami nakakaexperience ng time jump tapos bigla kang mawawala na parang hangin?"

"Restricted characters? You mean yung main characters and the rest na may important role? Yung hindi pwedeng baguhin ang plot?"

"Yes, let's just call it like that. Restricted characters."

Hanggang sa may naalala ako.

"So, ang character mo ay si Lorenzo Elwood? Bakit siya naging restricted character? Ano nga ba ulit ang role niya?"

Natawa si kuya na parang hindi makapaniwala.

"Ang dami kasing characters eh 'no?" sabi niya.

Tumango ako.

"Lorenzo Elwood," bulong ko.

Hinahanap ko sa memorya kung sino nga ba ang character na 'yon sa Black Juniper.

"Naalala mo na?"

"Hindi."

Natahimik saglit si kuya. And his funny face is plastered on him.

"He's the antagonist, Daisy. This character. Me."
