"So what are you gonna do about it kuya? Being the antagonist and all. You got any plans about it?"

"Not much. Like I said I can't take over him, okay? I can't do what I want to do when it comes to sabotaging Black Juniper's direction and plot. Lorenzo is something else. This character is awful. Though, thankful ako I didn't have to get my hands dirty. But so far, his orders was just cruel. And his wife? Just plain evil. I hate that woman."

I gave him a teasing glance.

"Oh, right. He has a wife." Tapos tumawa ako nang malakas.

Dahil remembering the Elwood last name gave me flashbacks. Because particularly Kuya Maxel, hated this character, and now na asawa pa nga ng character niya ay hagalpak talaga ako sa irony na kinakaharap niya.

Imagine sleeping in the same house with someone you hate?

Kuya was in a hell of a ride and I won't spoil you anymore.

But I can only tell that, hindi lang isa ang villain sa story ng Old and New Mesela.

They go beyond all the fingers you have.

"But wait kuya. I remember, nung una tayong nagkita. Nagtime jump ako no'n. Hindi mo ba napansin? Na bigla na lang akong nawala? Kasi when I blinked, suddenly nasa banquet na ako."

Nag-isip si Kuya Maxel.

"I remember na nakatulog ka. My memory was a big foggy too. That time I knew it was hard to sleep dahil nga, getting inside a series is just impossible, we have so many questions. But I thought you were sleep deprived. Lumabas ako no'n eh. To check the place. When I went back in, you were gone. Only Davin was left. I felt bad I had to wake him up to search for you."

Huminga saglit si kuya.

"We couldn't find you. I was distressed. I wanted to give up dahil sobrang lamig. But him? I was surprised when he initiated we should continue looking for you dahil nga sa klima. Baka mapano ka. Are you sure you met him exactly that night?"

I blushed. Siniko ako ni kuya at tumawa.

"Oh. You had a crush on him. Should I help you?"

Eto ang gusto ko kay Kuya Maxel. Kung si Jeremy ay overprotective. Si Kuya Maxel ay very supportive.

"Anyare kuya? Hinahanap niya... I mean niyo pa ako?"

Nang-aasar na ang mukha ni Kuya Maxel. Kaugali ko talaga ang kuya.

"We did dahil pinilit niya ako. We searched you for an hour. But then I talked to him when I realized maybe the story had something to do bakit bigla ka na lang nawala."

"Hmm. Is Davin one of the characters in Black Juniper, kuya?"

"If I remember correctly, his character has a lot do in contributing to the present timeline of Black Juniper. He's a Dransen Knight, Daisy. The strongest. They don't put cringy titles on characters na hindi importante."

I nodded.

"Okay. I should avoid him then."

"But why?"

Does kuya really want to change the story? He's gone stupid. But knowing kuya?

"Kuya. He's literally a character inside a TV series. It's stupid to get close to him. Baka mainlove ako ano! When I have a goal to leave this place and go back to the real world."

"Always practical. But you're right. There's no point in getting to know these lifeless characters inside a series." He shrugged.

Kuya Maxel has always been heartless.

"They're not lifeless, kuya. Sure, they're just characters in a story but they are individuals, they have personalities, backstories they're yet to tell. They're not just characters. I think they have souls too. Pero hindi lang literal like us. You get what I mean?"

"What?"

Kuya was teasing.

"You're frustrating! Hindi nga kasi literal! Panget mo kabonding!"

"I get you. Hindi mabiro." He chuckled.

I loosen up and my back finally rested on the couch. I realized I was stressing so much. It's nice knowing I wouldn't time jump when I'm around Restricted Characters but as long as they would notice.

Kagaya nang sinabi ni kuya, nung lumabas siya, at tulog naman si Davin, nawala ako. That means I can be around Restricted Characters as long as they're conscious and aware.

It makes me want to be with them always. Kasi para talaga akong mamatay every time na nagtitime jump. I hate that feeling. My lungs were being crushed.

My theory kaya gano'n ang effect sa akin ay maybe because I don't belong here. And that my existence here, occupying an extra is an anomaly?

And my gut feeling was telling me I would die if continous time jumps happen to me. I feel like it would take my life for real.

As if it was telling me that if only I occupied a character that follows a specific story line, I would stop having time jumps, like Kuya Maxel.

I hope hindi gano'n. Kasi I'm so sick of overthinking. And I hate the aftereffects of time jumping.

And to be honest, natatakot ako. I'm not fearless like Jeremy. Or smart and confident like Kuya Maxel. Or optimistic like Vincent. I'm scared of a lot of things and I rely a lot on them. That's why facing this was hard for me. And I hope kuya would understand and won't judge this fear I have in me.

Pinakwento ko na lang si kuya kung ano ng nangyayari sa timeline mg character niya. Kasi kakatime jump mamaya pagdilat ko na naman may pinadala na naman ang future queen para patayin ako katulad nung last time.

So far, matagal ang araw ni Kuya Maxel at medyo malayo pa sa mismong araw na mamamatay si Noe.

Napunta naman sa akin ngayon ang tanong. Kuya wants to know more about my timeline kasi baka matulungan ko siya sa dilemma niya ngayon.

"I don't know if Noe is following a specific plotline. But this extra is involved with a supporting character. Na wala sa memorya ni Noe."

Tumango si kuya, his jawline angled a bit to the right. May question sa mukha niya.

"Who was it?"

"Anak siya ng Royal Instructor. His name's Tieran Ziel Torrance."

Kuya Maxel was silent for a second. He was thinking. Until his brows furrowed deeply.

"Hmm."

I waited.

"I know Tieran Torrance. Remember, pinapabigkas ko 'yon kay Jer coz his name was like a tongue twister. Tieran Torrance. Bulol pa naman si Jer sa letter R. But I don't recall he had a middle name, I had a collection of the franchise remember. I read their names in one of my collection. It was just Tieran Torrance."

Okay...

"But what a coincidence, Daisy." He looked at me intently. Boring a hole in my skull.

"What?"

"Hindi ba Ziel ang pangalan ng stalker mo, Daisy?"
