When Anna was 4 years old she got engaged to Vinsmoke Ichiji but she doesn't like him because of his overbearing personality. She got kidnapped by a group of pirates when she was five luckily she wasn't sold as a slave, because of that Anna's father is a little distance because he's worried that the cause of his daughter's kidnapping was him. After Anna turned 7 she hasn't seen Ichiji.
6 years of annabelle's life
"Crista where's papa?" 6 year old annabelle asked as she played with the flowers outside her father's office "his majesty is busy with work, I apologize princess" Anna's nanny Crista said sadly as she watched Anna make a flower crown "I'll go give this to papa before lunchtime~" Anna said running back into the palace to give her father the gift.
"Papa look I made you a flower crown!" Anna said running into her father's office with the crown in hand "Annabelle how many times have I told you to knock before you enter my office don't you understand simple instructions?" The red haired man said not taking his eyes off his paperwork "I know, but I was so excited to give this to you" Anna said placing the crown on the work table "Annabelle get out" her father said trembling as he stared at his cute daughter "but it's lunch time and I wanted to go to the dining hall together" Annabelle said with a large smile as she accidentally spilled water on some papers.
"GET OUT ANNABELLE!!" Her father shouted shocking her as tears formed in the corner of her eyes "yes sir I'm sorry" Anna said running out the room and into the forest near their palace 'Hah even in her next life she's still suffering I love what I'm watching!' Airi thought as she watched how 'Lydia' was being treated with a grin.
"Your majesty please be kinder to the princess" Crista said walking into the kings work room "yes I know but if I'm too nice the nobles would look down on her" the king said sadly as tears fell from his eyes as he put the flower crown inside his drawer filled with other gifts from Anna "I'm sure you think your doing this for the princess's sake, but trust me if you keep treating her like this one day she'll run away and you'll never see her again" Crista said as she cleaned the water stains of the paper before a knight came running into the office.
"I'm sorry your majesty but the princess suddenly ran out the palace and into the forest and now we can't find her" a knight said rushing into the room alarming both Anna's father and Crista "enable all the knights and make sure they check every nock and cranny, they must find my daughter!" The man said as the knight and Crista rushed out the office leaving the king to contemplate what the nanny said.
"Why does papa hate me, what did I do?" Anna asked walking up to the small cliff in the forest as the tears dropped "I'll never forgive him I'll run away" Anna said after stomping her feet on the ledge, soon after the ledge gave out causing her to fall in hopes she won't die.
"Ow" Anna said as she patted dust off her dress as she got up with bruises on her arms, legs and face "my tummy" Anna said patting her stomach as it rumbled in hunger while she walked in the forest before slipping on a tree branch "waaaa, what did I do to upset anyone all I did was give daddy a flower crown and now I'm stwanded in the fowest and I'm hungry!" Anna cried before a fruit fell down from a tree in front of her.

"Fruit~" Anna said noticing the oddly shaped fruit in front of her "I'm so hungwy but Crista told me never to eat anything I don't know" Anna said think I of the possibilities of eating the fruit but got interrupted by her growling stomach "I'm hungry" she said grabbing the fruit and stuffing her face with it "no taste" she said after eating the whole fruit before hearing the shouts from her nanny.
"Oh my goodness, princess I'm so glad your okay" Crista said running to Anna but soon noticed how Anna's body turned to water "Annabelle what happened to you?!" Her father asked suddenly showing up behind Crista as he noticed Anna's lower half has turned into a living water figure "ahh I'm water!" Anna shouted very alarmed as she finally realised her situation "Anna what did you eat that made you like this?" Crista asked with interest as she cleaned juice off Anna's cheeks.
"I just ate that weird looking fruit over there" Anna said pointing at the left over parts of the fruit she ate earlier "oh Annabelle didn't anyone tell you not to eat things you've never seen before of all things why a devil fruit?" Her father said picking her up after noticing her legs turn back to normal "I was hungwy and that was the only fruit I saw... at the time" Anna said as she noticed an apple behind her father.
"There's only one reason why a logia type devil fruit is here either there is a dying marine or a dying pirate on my land" the king said as he headed towards the palace "pirate, what's that papa?" Anna asked curiously "don't ever ask about any pirates or marines you'll become neither and you'll meet neither do you understand?" Her father said as he walked into the palace with a disappointed Anna "yes papa" Anna said not wanting to argue with her father "your friend Nefeltari Vivi is coming over soon" the man informed trying to raise her spirits.
"Yay I'll show her my new dress Crista chose for me" Anna said as her father smiled at his daughters behaviour "oh yea that bastards son is also coming" Anna's father said as he thought about a specific Vinsmoke "yea I don't like that bastard Ichiji especially with his ugly curvy eyebrows" Anna said bawling her fist shocking all the surrounding maids before everyone soon bursted out into laughter.
