Anna asked "this island has a great affinity with nature, if you haven't noticed the plants and water seem to be alive" he said "yea I kinda noticed that when I was drowning" she said "because of your affinity for nature the island is draining your power, it's not supposed but because you're weak it is" he said "...I wish I could listen to why that is so but I have to get back to my friends, I need to get back to sabaody" she said getting up before he tossed a newspaper at her "read it" he said as she opened the paper shocked.
"How did this-no" Anna said reading the paper "it's about Ace execution, your captain strawhat Luffy went to impel down to save him they escaped but failed to save him" Gale said "I-if you knew this why are you now telling me?! How can this be" she said staring at the paper "fire fist ace died before strawhats eyes" he said "oh Luffy...I need to go, I need to get back to sabaody" she said getting up picking up the lion cub and running out the house "where are you going?" He asked following her "I can't imagine what Luffy must be going through right now! My heart is breaking for him, to think this is what he was going through while I was busy resting he was busy fighting for his life trying to the save his brother, his precious brother died in front of him, I couldn't help in sabaody and can't help him now, he doesn't even know if the crew is alright, no matter how strong he is no one can bear this much pain and hurt not alone. He saved us all but in his time of need I can't even help him, why is the world so cruel" she said falling to her knees crying "don't cry" he said hugging her as she cried on his chest.
Next day
"Anna?" Sakura said as she and her brother pulled a boat into dry land "woah" her brother said staring at Anna blushing "I'm gonna borrow this" Anna said collecting the boat and pushing it back towards the water "are you crazy?! When you last tried to leave you were unconscious for a few days, do you wanna kill yourself?!" Sakura asked "if that's what it comes to then yes, too much time has been wasted on this stupid island" Anna said pushing the boat into the water using her powers to control the water before it capsized on her "told you not to try it again!" Gale said diving into the water "if you don't want to help me that's fine! But I'm getting to sabaody however I can" she said swimming out to sea 'Luffy, you saved me from great sadness, you helped me save my kingdom. I'm coming so just wait a bit longer' Anna thought sinking.
"Is not listening a woman thing?" Gale asked placing Anna on the sand after saving her "I think it's just a her thing" Sakura said as rowen licked Anna awake "I'll try again" Anna said standing up couching "you're not strong enough to go back into the sea" gale said frustrated "then help me" she said "...I can't not with the power level you're at right now, to cross this islands sea it takes over 10 years of training you need to connect with nature if you want the island to let you go, I can help you control your devil fruit powers" gale said as a newspaper fell from the sky on his hand "sorry old man but I don't have 10 years to be training on this crap island" Anna said as he handed her the newspaper "read" he said as she opened the paper to read "what does it say?" Sakura asked "...that idiot" Anna said giggling tears in her eyes "what's wrong?" Sakura brother asked alarmed "Gale I hope that offer to train is still on the table, and if you can please shorten that 10 year training to two it seems seeing my friends will have to wait a while. The idiot went back to marieford to relay this, it is the fastest way for him to communicate with us" Anna said laughing "the training can't be shortened to two years" gale said irritated "you better find a way then you old goat, cmon Rowen let's look into the island" Anna said walking away remembering her encounter with Luffy and how he saved her kingdom.
Later
"So gale tell me about this training you have planned for me" Anna asked gagging as she ate "that gag was definitely unwarranted" Gale said annoyed "you old goat of course it's necessary, this is disgusting did you cook this? I'm gonna gag not even rowen can eat this and he's a beast" Anna said "if you have so much complaints then enter the kitchen and start cooking" he said as she let out a gasp "a dignified lady such as myself is not going to enter that cramped up nest you call a kitchen!" Anna said getting up "women, such difficult genders" Gale did frustrated "huh?" She asked stopping.
"Let me give you the basics of your training, I will take you to the tree of life for you to meditate absorbing the natures energy and listening to the voices of nature, you will also need to study about plants you can't foolishly grow plants without knowing what types are around, in case you want to poison someone there are many things you can do with the earth and everything that surrounds it. Then I'll take you to the sea to do the same thing, the water water devil fruit isn't used just to control water, you can control the weather even people beings" he said shocking her "control people? How?" Anna asked shocked "the body is made up of 50-70 percent of water if you focus hard enough you can control the water particles in someone, while that is going on I'll teach you Haki I'll explain the basics later, well focus more on observation and Armament since that's all I know there's a third but I don't know that and it's called conqueror haki, people with strong will are able to use this haki" he said.

Anna asked "you will know, the island will let you know once you prove yourself" he said "isn't that too much training for little old me?" She asked batting her eye lash "you said to shorten the training from ten years to two, today is your last normal day so you better have fun as much as you like cause I'm putting you through it for your training" he said eating.
