"The surface is already so far away" Robin said as the ship sank into the water "it's beautiful" Anna said "no big deal I've done this a bajillion times before it's cool" Usopp said "the mangrove trees are enormous" Anna said staring at the tree "who cares I've seen this" Zoro said unimpressed "that's cause you got on the wrong ship! Don't ruin this for us" Sanji yelled "these roots they're beautiful and think about it they stretch all the way down to the bottom of the sea" Robin said "they must be thousands of years old, nature truly is magnificent and I would know" Anna said "took us long enough to get here, oh well was worth the wait-oh fishy's" Luffy said grabbing unto the ships coating "I see these look good pretty good too" Zoro said drawing his sword before Usopp and chopper hit them "if you pop that bubble and we all die! I'm gonna kill you! Twice!" Chopper yelled "Nami you know how the coating works right? Can we get some basic tips before another idiot flips out on us" Sanji said "alright, I can give you the summary" Nami said turning to him before he got a nose bleed and shot up the ship "that idiot" Anna said irritated as Sanji shot out the coating "I see it maintains it shape well, you'd think that it'd burst considering the amount of water the coat is exposed to, how nice and I thought we'd all drown here never to be seen again" Robin said.
"With these recent events I really do fear for Sanji life, when we get to fishman island the idiots gonna die" Anna said watching chopper give Sanji a blood transfusion "when we get there we'll have to ask for a blood transfusion, they won't be human blood so I hope Sanji will be okay" chopper said as Robin and Nami talked about the ships coating. "Oh yea lunch time. They packed a bunch of food for me and since Sanji is sick let's have a picnic" Luffy said bringing out the bag the kuja packed for him "cool as long as Nami think the ship is stable we don't have to steer the ship right?" Franky asked "yea we'll just be cruising on the sea current till we get further down so yea I'm sure we'll more excitement later but for the time being we can just kick back and take it easy" Nami said "well I would call this taking it easy exactly but there's something you guys should know before reaching fishman island" Franky said raising his sunglasses "which is?" Anna asked "this is a bit heavy so I hope it doesn't ruin lunch already" he said "I think I know I'm ready...it's robot stuff right!" Luffy said as he, Usopp, chopper and rowens eyes twinkled in delight "they're young Anna, they're young" Anna said watching the boys interact before Franky began explaining the situation.
"That's all I have to say" Franky said after explaining the situation with Kuma "that's kinda a lot to work through in one day, someday I hope we can find out the rest of the story" Zoro said "Kuma saved us huh" Sanji said waking up "have some lunch it's from Amazon lily" luffy said "Amazon lily huh? The island with all the women, of course that's where he sent you do you where I was these past two years? Because I'm kinda thinking Kuma isn't a good friend at all in fact if he were here right now I'd like to kick his metal face in" Sanji said angrily "now now Sanji we've all had our troubles before I became a pop music sensation I was once trapped in a cage" Brook said trying the calm the blond "you don't know man! You don't know anything" Sanji said.
"Wow how far down are we?" Luffy asked looking up at the surface of the water "don't know but it's getting darker and darker" Usopp said "about a thousand meters give or take" Franky said eating "so 19 thousand more meters left I do hope it doesn't take long" Anna said "oh look it's a whale!" Chopper said pointing some whales pass by the ship "it looks like laboon!" Brook said "nah looks just like whitebeard" Luffy laughed "please don't say that about my precious late uncle" Anna said face palming more whales passing by the ship. "Hey you guys there's a ship looking thing coming our way" Usopp said pointing at a ship "it's a pirate ship!" Chopper said the ship crashing into the sunny "damn it stop or we'll all die!" Usopp said.
"They're not trying to break our ship they're trying to board it" Nami said hearing a roar "what are these guys after?" Luffy asked "I've heard that growl from somewhere. Momu it's me Nami!" Nami said running to see the sea cow "hey Luffy doesn't that thing look kinda familiar?" Sanji asked "I don't know. Hey the guys up to something" Luffy said noticing the pirate enter the ship "fools they look dumbfounded, if they're gonna sit there catching flies then we'll smite this entire crew! Come along men we'll make them beg us for mercy" the pirate captain said before momu pulled his ship away "I'm getting a headache" Anna said taking out a rope from behind a tree as Franky got the pirate captain.
"I wanna find a sea monster too! Anna! Sea monster!" Luffy said excitedly looking around the water "what crazy idea are you hatching now Luffy?" Nami asked "turtles? Nah too small" Luffy said trying to make his decision "hey Nami the direction we're taking isn't the same as the way the log pose is pointing" Usopp said "oh no problem the correct course is technically south west so we're in the clear" Nami said "yea but if we went in a straight line we could get there a whole lot faster" Luffy said "well if we go straight we'll risk getting in a sea current" Nami said "keep in mind there are mountains underwater too, if the ship crashes into one we're done" Anna added "huh? Yikes I'm with you on this one" chopper said.
"Yea but I thought all of the sea currents here are dangerous this is the grand line after all, so are you saying some of them are actually stable" Usopp asked "this one is at least, anyway it's gonna start getting colder from here on out so put on a coat or something" Nami warned as rowen handed a coat to Anna through his mouth "we're going somewhere cold? Not the deep sea?" Zoro asked "don't you guys know the water is cold in the deep sea? Hot water rises cold water sinks" Franky asked "oh really? I don't really take that many baths" Luffy said "yea we might have to deal with that later anyways unless we come across an under water volcano" Anna added "volcano gets hot underwater?! Cool I wanna see!" Luffy said excitedly "the temperature not the only thing that's different in the bottom" Brook said depressed at choppers earlier interruption of his joke.
"Once we move down we'll find something called deep currents, we don't run into them terribly often but they're much larger than the regular currents also their quite unique" Brook said holding up a picture diagram "not only that but all currents are connected to each other but that doesn't mean they have to flow in the same direction, they flow east west up and down, like a big long dragon all tangled up" Franky said as Anna entered her room and brought out some paint and a canvas.
"What are you mumbling on about here?" Anna asked walking to the pirate captain the crew captured as they looked over the under water waterfall "please listen to me strawhats! We have to turn back we're gonna die! There's a sea monster" the man said panicked "cut it out already there's no monster" Usopp said "there actually is" Anna said shocking her crew "they're just stories somebody made it up to scare people" he said "it's called a kraken it's like an octopus just larger like hundreds of meters tall" Anna said noticing a tentacle by the ship "ok...ahhhh! It's the kraken!" Usop screamed scared "he made fish food out of those ships, they left for the new world but never made it" Franky said "turn around I'm not ready to die I beg you! Just wait around for a couple days and it'll probably go away" the captive captain said.
"Guys I got an idea, we just have to capture it" Luffy said confusing the crew "have you lost your mind Luffy?!" Usopp yelled "if we catch it we can teach it how to pull the ship, Anna catch it! Pretty please" Luffy said as Usopp pulled his face to look at the kraken "Anna can I borrow your drawing materials?" Robin asked "this is so stimulating" Anna said handing Robin her sketchbook and pencil "you got a way to get it?" Zoro asked drawing his sword "I was gonna strike it with lightning but that might kill it and plants can't grow down here, I was thinking of trapping it in a sphere of water" Anna said "something's coming up behind us" Franky said as a ship swam towards the sea "you came back for me! You're the best crew a captain could ask for" the captain said happily before the kraken destroyed the ships coating and the ship.
"Yea they're not surviving that one" Anna said watching the men raise up the water "like jellyfish" Zoro said "damn it roronoa that's too cruel!" The man yelled "here it comes!" Usopp warned "there's no way we can fight against a monster like that!" Nami said as Zoro and Luffy prepared an attack causing Usopp to stop them "noo! If you do that you'll break the bubble for sure" he said the ship backing up.
"Anna go out with them, I don't trust those three together" Nami said after Caribou gave the crew a solution to fight underwater "sure" Anna said getting out the bubble.
