Roger and Rayleigh - The Pirate King and His Right Hand

"Huh? Oh boy I didn't realize we got such a captive audience" an old man said walking out from the back room "where did that old man and the giant come from?" A guard asked "they were supposed to be sold for the auction, hey how'd they get their collars off?" Another guard asked "Rayleigh?" Hatchan asked shocked "is that you Hatchan? It sure is, I'll be damned what are you doing here? Did someone hurt you? No no don't speak save your energy" the old man said stocking his beard and accessing the situation "ah? That fire like red hair, and the ocean blue eyes, is that you baby Belle?" Rayleigh asked shocked.

"That nickname" Anna said freezing as everyone stared at her "you know him?" Luffy asked "I'm just as shocked as you all are" she said "look how big you are now, last I saw you, you were like 3 pounds now you're...wow the name belle is perfect" Rayleigh said blood dripping from his nose "damn it you perverted old man!" Sanji yelled angry as Rayleigh stopped all the guards "what? But how what did you do to them?" Usopp asked "that strawhat you wear, it suits a fearless man like yourself. Yes I wanted to meat you, Monkey D. Luffy" Rayleigh said staring at Luffy before walking to Camie to take off the collar.

"I've no idea what kind of power that guy used earlier, but one thing I know for sure is that he's no ordinary man" Zoro said "so that makes it okay to risk Camie life? Damn it where's Franky with that key" Sanji asked as the timer on the collar went off "I told you! Camie no!" Pappag said in tears "it's off" Nami mumbled surprised "how did he do that? That old geezer got some kind of freaky power" Usopp said "Im sorry about that everyone, I didn't realize there were other pirates here as well, must all be quite strong to withstand something like that without trouble" Rayleigh said walking up the stairs.

"Dark king Rayleigh what are you doing here old man?" Eustass Kid asked "on this island I'm just ray the coating craftsman, don't go around calling me that other name I'm retired now I just want a quiet and peaceful like. Looks like you'll be fine Hatchan, what did I tell you about walking around the archipelago? You gotta be careful" Rayleigh said bending to Hatchan "I know I'm sorry" he said "thank you I appreciate you saving my friend" Rayleigh continued before hearing the marines call out to them.

"Do all captains act like children or just those idiots?" Nami asked as Luffy, law and kid left to fight the marines "from what I know it's them for now" Anna giggled "hey, it's gonna get ugly out there let's use this chance to escape, waiting around is just plain crazy" Usopp said "follow them and try to break through in one shot" Zoro said "sounds like a plan, if we happen to get split up let's meet up in grove 13" Rayleigh said picking Hatchan up "I know my way around, grove 13 got it" Zoro said "you'll be lucky if you find your way out of the building" Usopp said "Mr giant what about you?" Rayleigh asked turning to the giant "all of us were on the verge of becoming slaves now I'm gonna escape somewhere with them" the giant said as the other slaves cheered "ok, try not to draw any attention to yourself" Rayleigh said "kinda hard considering his size" Anna said sweat dropping.

"Oh great it's already come to this?" Zoro said running out the auction house to see the chaos the captains have caused "what a sight and I don't even have eyes" Brook said "waisting time fighting when we can be on the ship getting away from here" Anna said letting out a tired sigh as the marines got closer to them "you complain too much" Zoro said running to Luffy "there you guys are, time for us to get outta here" Luffy said with a grin "hey Luffy look over there" Sanji said pointing at four men waving "let's go" Luffy said running "strawhat Luffy is getting away!" A marine soldier said chasing after Luffy before Brook stopped them with his music "oh wow! How sexy!" A few men said looking at Anna "focus! No matter how beautiful she is capture her!" Their officer yelled before a ball of water surrounded him as an attempt to drown him "go easy on them, when you see a beautiful lady it can't be helped that you admire" Anna said grinning "hey move it you guys! Hurry up!" Usopp yelled "Anna!" Nami said creating a thunder cloud "already ahead of you! Lightning passed through water much faster and painful than you'd think!" Anna said drenching the men in water before Nami electrocuted them.

Some time later

"Vice captain?!" The crew said shocked as Rayleigh told them about his identity "why didn't you tell them? slip your mind?" Shaky asked "we only needed them to coat your boat so I didn't think about it" Hatchan said "wait you didn't know who he was?" Robin asked as the crew explained their reasoning "I thought Rayleigh was blond?" Anna said sweat dropping "people age baby Belle, I got grey hair" Rayleigh said drinking "how do a big shot pirate and an octopus know each other?" Zoro asked "Hatchan rescued me, I was stranded at sea and he found me that was over 20 years ago and I'll never forget it for as long as I live, we remained good friends until he became a sun pirate" Rayleigh said "it's hard to believe I mean gol Roger was executed over 20 years ago, how did the vice captain avoid getting his head chopped off too? The marines captured the entire crew didn't they?" Sanji asked.

"The marines didn't catch Roger, you see the captain turned himself in, the government made it sound like they did, just to look tough" Rayleigh said "why?" Nami and Anna asked "because he saw the inevitable end to our journey, see about four years before his execution Roger began to feel ill, turned out he had developed a fatal disease, no matter how strong he was the illness he had was incurable" Rayleigh said explaining the story of the king of the pirates. "The captain was an amazing man, he sure lived one hell of a life" Rayleigh said finishing his story.

"He didn't want to die by his disease but instead chose to let himself get caught and died that way, that's quite admirable" Anna said "I've heard it before but it's still so amazing, when one of Roger's old friend tells it it's like a whole new story" Nami said "baby belle are you sure this is your first time hearing this story?" Rayleigh asked as Anna nodded "would have sworn your father would have told you, then again the boy is a bit secretive sometimes" he said with a laugh "you know her dad?" Sanji asked "yea, he was on the crew too, I remember back when you were a baby, you could barely lift your head, so tiny and so cute but so nasty after feeding, diaper changes were hell" Rayleigh said with a laugh before Anna grabbed him "stop!" She yelled her face flushed red "Florian brings back memories the crew always wondered why he joined, it could be for the adventure or your mother or something else, on the subject of your mother you look exactly like her" he said staring at Anna.

"The resemblance is uncanny, when I saw I thought it was her" Shakky said smocking "you inherited her looks and her power, she was apart of the whitebeard pirates so we saw them quite often, I think that's where your father and her fell in love but it could have been before that. She was always in trouble but always managed to escape, the water water fruit was wanted by everyone, it was the only devil fruit in the world that wasn't affected by the sea a tremendous power only she could control, her mastery over it made her a legend" Rayleigh laughed drinking from his glass before continuing his talk with Luffy 'her looks and her power, she was a legend...I have trouble controlling my power but she was amazing' Anna thought staring "now then getting down to business I hear you want your ship coated? It's high time for me to return to my real work" Rayleigh said getting up.

"That reminds me, I wasn't sure exactly how much the coating will cost" Hatchan asked "ah don't worry about it Hatchan, I couldn't possible take money from friends of yours" Rayleigh said making the crew happy "we just saved a ton of money" nami said happily "Rayleigh, I have a question what exactly is the will of D? There was a Poneglyph on sky island and Roger's name was on it, how does he know it how can he use that language? Please tell me, did you learn what happened in the world in the blank century? Please tell me what happened 900 years ago" Robin asked "yes, we know, we learned all of it the entirety of the missing history...but miss, you mustn't be so hasty this is your journey now, we and Ohara might have hurried too much for our own good I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear" Rayleigh said.
