Alex walked into Jack's room, and felt horrible when she saw Jack lying there, in obvious pain. "Blondie!" She gasped, rushing to his side.
"Hey, cupcake."
"I was so worried, I thought you were going to die, I'm so sorry that I let us go in I-"
"Hey, it isn't your fault." Jack comforted. "It was my stupid idea. I mostly just wanted to go in there to see who your other ex was, and have the chance to knock him out."
"Why would you want to do that?"
"I don't know. It was stupid. I should've paid attention to the fact that I could've been killed."
"Blondie, please, never do that again."
"No promises, cupcake." He smirked. Alex blushed, and they stared into each other's eyes for a few moments, until Alex realized their lips were touching. What. Is. Happening. She stressed. Alex didn't like Jack! She truly didn't! She liked him as a friend! Not the kind of friend she'd kiss! She pulled away, as soon as she started to enjoy it. "I-I'm sorry." Jack stammered. "I-I took it too far, I shouldn't have-"
"It's okay, I just.. woah."
"Well.. was it nice at least?"
"I'm not sure.."
"We can't tell anyone about this.." Jack decided.
"Yeah, no way. They'll never leave us alone about it, if we didn't become a couple after."
"If?"
"When." Alex corrected, blushing. Jack nodded. "Why do you like me, Blondie? I just don't understand." Alex sighed.
"Cupcake, maybe you don't see it, but you are the most smart, caring, beautiful, kind girl I've ever met. I know you don't feel the way I do for you, for me, but that doesn't stop me from loving you."
Alex blushed as red as a tomato. "Blondie .. I'm sorry.."
"It's fine, I can live with it. Maybe one day you'll come to your senses." He joked.
"Maybe one day you'll find the right girl for you.. someone who won't break your heart." She sighed. Jack looked at the ground, and they sat in silence for about a minute until Jack said, "Alex.. I'd die for you if I had to. I know you're the one for me. Maybe you just don't know it yet."
Alex felt horrible. She didn't like Jack. She didn't think he was the one. She thought. Instead she said, "Don't call me Alex, it's cupcake to you."
Jack blushed. She sat by his bedside for awhile, and they just talked about normal stuff and proceeded to flirt with each other like usual. "You're gonna fall for me one way or another, Cupcake." Jack teased.
"Oh, you missed a part. I'm going to fall off a bridge so I don't have to date you."
"That's technically still falling for me.." Jack squeaked. They both laughed.

Sorry these parts are so short! I'm getting near the end, and I have to switch different POVs for them. Okay byeee!
