"Think I forgot how to be happy.
Something I'm not, but something I can be."

My first destination after being allowed to leave the infirmary was Yaga's office. He was shocked to see me, but let me in nevertheless.

"Honestly, I thought you wouldn't make it." He spoke lowly, filing paper away in a cabinet.

"I've got a heavenly restriction. I have a physical toughness like none other. I would've died if I were anyone else." I spoke firmly, folding my arms and leaning back in my seat.

I only had one thing on my mind: murder.

But first, I needed to talk to Yaga.

The muscular teacher fixed his gaze on me, his eyes narrow as if he were observing me carefully.

"Y/N. You've changed."

"What do you mean? It's only been like 6 days since I've last seen you." I spoke, clearly confused.

Yaga just watched me for a second before sighing.

"Never mind. Let's talk about what I've found about the serum you were injected with by M/N L/N." He pulled out a stack of paper. I was relieved to finally be getting to the relevant side of this conversation.

"I'll get straight to the point: whatever your mother gave you is not a registered drug studied by doctors, nor was it anything we could find on Official Jujutsu medical file books. I figured we wouldn't find anything if we looked at primary sources, so I turned to wise women, also very influential amongst sorcerers nowadays," His gaze was fixed on a piece of paper.

"And it looks like I found what we were looking for."

Yaga outstretched his arm, handing me a piece of paper which I gratefully took.

I began reading it.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't skip past all the nonsense that I couldn't understand, but what stood out to me was the emphasis on that syringe my mother bought being the last of its kind, and the fact that it could bring about...premonitions?

I raised a brow.

"Premonitions? You mean like seeing harmful events in the future or something?" I scrunched my features together, clearly confused.

"You're completely right," Yaga spoke, causing me to re-read that same section all over again.

"Do you think my Mom had an ulterior motive when she gave me it?" I furrowed my brows, trying to decipher what she may have given me that for.
