"Honey, I know you..."

As I had promised, I took Megumi out to Splendid Sushi to collect takeout for everyone. I gave Megumi the choice of eating in or with everyone else, and he chose the latter, hence why we now on our way back home in our driver's car with 3 fully stacked bags of sushi and dessert.

Half of me only purchased that amount for Gojo, like the glutton he is, and the other part of me had it as muscle memory from Yu Haibara's antics.

I chuckled to myself.

"What're you laughing at?" Megumi whispered, his head buried into my arms as he leaned into me, the kid seemed evidently tired.

"Nothing much, just remembered something..." I hummed, brushing through his hair with my fingers in response.

30 MINUTES LATER

"I wanna press the bell." Megumi pouted, running up to the luxurious door like the bell was going to escape anytime soon.

Me, with hands filled to the brim with takeout bags, grumbled.

"Knock yourself out." I deadpanned jokingly, purposefully not telling the boy about the keys that sat in my pocket.

He rang the bell around 5 times, which I found weird.

"Five's a little too much, no? You're gonna wreck poor Nanami's ears." I joked, earning a pout from Megumi.

"Well I like the sound, so I don't care about his ears."

I snickered, standing behind him as the door opened, revealing a grinning Satoru.

"Satoru? You finished up already?" I spoke, tilting my head in confusion, simultaneously ushering Megumi into the open door.

With his smirk still plastered onto his face, he spoke.

"No greetings at all? How could you?!" He feigned distress, taking the copious amount of takeout bags from my hands as he stepped aside with a soft smile in order to let me in.

I stretched as I walked in.

"In all seriousness, how'd it go?" Satoru asked softly, advancing further into my home and placing the takeout bags on the Kitchen Island.

"It...went? I guess?" I couldn't really come up with an adjective to express my visit to the Zenin clan.

I furrowed my brows and began taking food out of the bags.
