"Why don't you bring your girlfriend?"

It didn't take too long for us to get to Shizoka, where our mission was to be carried out. We all got out of the car, tired and eager to just get into action. I had also forced Shoko to substitute her cigarette for a lollipop instead.

My weapon of choice was just a Grade One Katana.

I swung the weapon around tiredly as the Assistant Supervisor went on about things we already knew.

We all seemed bored.

"How about we just ditch him?" Satoru whispered to the three of us. We all nodded and I sheathed my blade.

Normally, I was the mature one. But I just needed to check up on Utahime.

"I gotta pee!" Satoru called, running in the direction of our destination.

"So do I!" Suguru raised his arm and also ran away, following Satoru.

"Me three!" And Shoko followed behind them.

I just deadpanned, a sigh escaping my lips.

"I'm so sorry." And with that, I also ran away. Our Assistant Supervisor just stood there confused.

It wasn't hard for me to overtake everyone, so I just did so anyway with ease. The sun was already at its peak.

"Can we stop to get cake after this?" Satoru inquired.

I rolled my eyes.

"We can talk about cake once we're certain that Utahime's okay."

"Mei Mei's there too. You don't care about her? Callous!" Gojo tried to put words into my mouth, so I just turned my head to give him a stern glare.

That shut him up.

But just as I turned back around, the building not too far ahead of us exploded into pieces.

"Holy fuck." Shoko cursed.

My eyes widened as I drew my blade, charging metres ahead of everyone else towards the rubble.

Satoru jumped onto a standing piece of debris.

I made out Utahime from the corner of my eye, internally thankful that she was okay. I would've stopped to talk to her, but I ran by her collapsed form too fast for her to even notice.
