And right then, I felt my heart stop completely.
My breath hitched and my phone dropped onto the car's carpeted ground. Slapping a hand over my mouth, I sat in shock. I stayed still and refused to even make the slightest noise in fear I'd break.
My eyes were wide and I felt as though even breathing would shatter me.
Yu's not dead...

Leon shifted in the driving seat and turned to face me.
"Miss L/N, is everything okay?" He asked hesitantly.
I instantly stiffened up with wide eyes.
"It's nothing. I...something came up...I need to go to the airport as soon as possible." I spoke, clearly shaken.
"Ma'am? Is it important?" He asked, confused.
I slowly reached over to pick up the phone I had dropped. With my eyes still wide, I glanced down at Shoko's message with shaking hands.
'Yu just died.'
I forced myself into a state of composure.
"Someone I care about passed away, so I need to return to Japan as soon as possible." I whispered, my voice smooth as I tried my hardest to suppress my emotions.
He turned in his seat to face me completely.
"Ma'am, my cursed technique consists teleportation...if you really need, I could send you to Tokyo via my technique?" He whispered, his face contorting into sympathy.
"Would you not get tired?" I leaned forward, my eyes full of desperation.
"It depends on the distance, but I'll be able to recover quite quickly, don't worry." He climbed out of the car, standing outside the vehicle.
