"I'd be a fearless leader,
I'd be an alpha type.
When everyone believes ya,
What's that like?"

"Excuse me? My sister wants to know your name..."

I glanced down at the young girl.

Word had gotten around the Zenin clan that I'd be fighting their star-boy, and just around 30 men were gathered around the Zenin clan's largest training field.

I narrowed my eyes at the sight of the gathered men, all smirking their asses off at their flawed prospect that i'd lose. The only females other than myself were the two little girls in front of me.

My gaze softened at the girls, who seemed to be twins. I assumed they were around Tsumiki's age.

The kid who stood up front seemed to have more confidence in comparison to her twin. Her hair was far less messy, and I could tell she was just as scared as her sister, albeit the fact she didn't show it.

However, they both shared the same honey brown eyes and deep green hair.

A smile inched its way onto my face as I crouched down to their level.

"I'm Y/N. What's yours?" I whispered, subconsciously glancing over at Megumi, who I had ordered to separate himself from the crowd so that I wouldn't lose him.

Despite always being chill, he seemed pretty stressed out.

"My name's Maki! This is my twin sister, Mai!" The more confident girl, Maki, introduced, her face gleaming with delight.

Her sister, Mai, gave me a bashful smile, followed by a small wave.

"Maki, Mai. It's great to meet you both. What brings you kids here?" I asked, ignoring the whispers and laughs of the men around us. I noted how Mai nervously turned around to face them.

"We heard you're fighting Naoya...we couldn't help but follow the crowd here..."

"Maki...we really shouldn't be here." Mai sounded scared, her eyes contorting into fear as she tightened her grip around her sister's hand.

I furrowed my brows in concern before looking up at the crowd.

Ogi Zenin stood just about noticeable, his snarl pretty obvious as he glared at the kids.

His kids.

The ones Naoya called failures?

To make it worse, the entire crowd gave the two kids nasty stares of their own.
