"Do you swear you'll stay forever?"

——————

Immediately, I hung up on Utahime.

My logic and emotions were engaging in a nearly futile race, and I was waiting to see which would win.

Which would dictate my next move.

"It's as clear as day, Y/N. Miyuki did this to you." Nanami stated, earning a dry chuckle from me.

"Yeah, no shit." I whispered, contemplating what to do next.

I turned to face Satoru, who seemed just as pensive as me.

"What's on your mind?" I whispered, peering down at the two Fushiguros' tucked into my arms.

"To be completely honest, I don't know." I raised a brow as he continued, "But I guess I just wonder why..." He spoke bluntly, returning to thought.

I hummed in response, deciding on the winner.

Logic had prevailed.

I managed to get back on my feet again, making a beeline for the door.

"Y/N. Where are you going?" Satoru asked.

"Both of you stay here." I declared as I opened the door.

"I need to talk to Miyuki."

And I shut the door behind me.

I was wondering why I wasn't mad, why I didn't already decide her fate, but irregardless, I managed to keep a level head: to remain composed- even albeit the circumstances.

So with a million thoughts racing through my head and a nearly concerning amount of adrenaline pumping through my body, I made my way over to Satoru's room, where Miyuki was.

My brows were furrowed and my eyes narrowed as a make-shift antidote to my headache, which I believed to be a product of the poison.

I made it to the dorms relatively quickly, immediately picking up my pace as I began nearing Satoru's dorm.

I clenched my fists- all composure fleeing my body.

And there I was: outside Satoru's dorm and unable to mask my anger as I slammed his door open, nearly forcing it off its hinge.
