As parents Renjun and Donghyuck measured the growth of their daughter differently than everyone else.Their mothers counted the weeks and made sure to share their experiences with raising children, coming over to take commemorative photos of Eunbi for every month.
Jaemin made sure to ask his best friend about the little girl often so he's always updated on her achievements as her dads call it, like:
*The first night she slept through the night.
*The first time she managed to hold her head up while laying on her stomach.
*The first mumbles and gurgles.
*Her first smile directed to Renjun (and later to Donghyuck too, although the man was upset he wasn't first)
*The first and last time she spit out the pacifier, since she's now loving it more than anything.
*Her first real laugh.
*Her fascination with her reflection in the mirror as well as her love for hugs.
*Eunbi discovering her feet, toes and fingers, her attempts at nibbling on her feet and Donghyuck's fascination with her flexibility.
It was obvious that the longer the two men spent with her the more smitten they became with the little bundle of joy (and chaos).
They spent all of their free time as parents and were very attentive to their daughter but the relationship between the two men was not much different than during their first week of living together.
The little girl is already fourteen weeks old, can sit propped up and enjoys her storybooks that make sounds.
With her growth and the shorter naps during the day Renjun spends more time with her reading stories, playing or just showing her around the apartment.
It's been over three months since the man has been living in that guest room, still feeling as awkward and intruding as he did while he had to share a bed with Donghyuck.
Every second Saturday he'd go back to his own place to clean and grab clothes if needed but he's starting to feel homesick.
Jaemin has not visited for weeks being too busy wooing his crush, spending the time Renjun doesn't have for him with the shy yet intimidating Lee Jeno.
Every morning he'd report to his best friend about the advancement in their relationship which the older fully supported.
Renjun did feel a bit sad when Jaemin and Jeno started hitting the gym together, something he used to do with his best friend as bonding time before becoming a father.
He doesn't even remember the last time he went for a morning jog, worked out in the afternoon or simply spent quality time by himself.
Donghyuck would go out with Mark on Friday evenings after work and sometimes stayed a bit longer during weekdays too, taking well needed breaks.
Renjun didn't.
Saying that he didn't love spending time with his daughter who was growing day by day and becoming more charming would be a lie, but lately he feels like his only purpose in life is being a father.
Once he jokingly referred to himself as a live-in nanny while some days he feels more like a housekeeper rather than a respected working adult with a stable income and a bright future.
It was supposed to be his spa day, the first Saturday in a while Donghyuck didn't have work was perfect for Renjun to spend some quality time pampering himself.
