"Dude, you look like something the cat dragged in!"Mark was not subtle at all but Donghyuck knew he looked like shit after being woken up thrice during the night and having been called to their office at 10am.
"Why did you call me over this early when my clients are scheduled for the afternoon?!"
"The couple that bought the villa are coming over to sign the papers and the woman indirectly asked for your presence. I thought you'd look well rested after taking a day off but it seems like you drank all night."
Wiggling his eyebrows the older seemed to assume that his friend has had an eventful night and probably even got some action, but oh how far he was from the truth.
"I'm not in the mood for jokes, I barely got any sleep last night thanks to Eunbi."
"Eunbi? Don't tell me you took home a woman!? You?! How was she? Must have been good if she kept you up all night."
"Eww, no!" Donghyuck scrunched up his face in disgust before pouring himself a coffee and checking out the bags under his eyes in the little mirror on the wall.
"Dude, I'm not judging you. Be it a she, a them or a he, yo do whoever you do."
"Eunbi is my daughter you perverse piece of shit! She kept waking up during the night so we had to be on alert."
The look on Mark's face was priceless as he tried to comprehend what his best friend just told him, the dots somehow failing to connect themselves.
"Before you ask useless questions, her parents died and trusted us with her so without any previous warning I became a dad of a newborn. Surprise!"
"Wait, you said us. You mean your parents and you, or?"
"No, me and a guy with whom I went to the same school, so basically a stranger until two days ago."
Mark was already about to ask another flood of questions when the door opened and their clients arrived.

Renjun grumbled as he checked the instructions again and found the piece he was looking for, slowly but steadily assembling the new furniture.
Eunbi has been suspiciously quiet since her last tantrum that morning and he hoped she could sleep a little longer before waking up again.
Mrs Lee was transfering the laundry into the dryer after returning from the market with fresh groceries to prepare lunch with.
The apartment was quiet and peaceful, very unusual considering the past two days, tempting him to doze off right there on the living room floor.
Before his eyelids slid down he jolted himself awake, having too much to do before his leave ended and he'd have to return to his job.
Donghyuck had agreed to move all of his schedule for the afternoons so that one of them could always be at home while Renjun got the permission to leave the office earlier and finish his work from home.
Jaemin had promised to stop by in the afternoon and help him move his stuff, already having been given space in Donghyuck's large walk-in closet to use.
Despite being exhausted and it only being day three of taking care of Eunbi everything seemed to go smoothly for them.

Monday came sooner than expected and for the first time in two and a half years Renjun left for work without doing any morning exercise at all.
Once again their little girl disturbed their rest and when Mrs Lee took her to herself in the morning the man went back to get an extra hour of sleep instead of his morning jog.
