Renjun had a murderous look on his face along with a slight pout, a combination that shouldn't be cute but to Donghyck it surprisingly was.

For the second time in the span of less than 24 hours he had thought the shorter was cute, convinced that it was only because he reminded him of their daughter.

The two were just returning from the hospital after the taller had insisted on driving Renjun to his appointment, staying by his side through the whole check up like some sort of a good husband.

The news about the lengthy rehabilitation process didn't come as a huge surprise after taking a look at the size of the cut, but it still was hard to swallow that he wouldn't be allowed to hold his daughter for several months.

Donghuck was baffled when the shorter started haggling with the doctor to somehow reduce his recovery time, offering to start exercising right away and being extra careful.

In the end the doctor succeeded in convincing him that the slow way was the only right one, suggesting using a baby carry bag until his arm recovers to console the dejected male.

Not understanding what the drama was about the tan male decided to keep his mouth shut after having seen the other's short fuse and fearing his car's safety.

The mothers were busy baking in his kitchen while Eunbi made a mess on the floor throwing her toys left and right in anger.

Seeing the two men return and call out to her the little girl's expression changed immediately, babbling while trying to reach for her approaching dads.

Renjun was by her side in a blink and slowly sat down on the mat with his good arm supporting his other.

Attempting to pick up the toddler it was obvious that he was in discomfort, opting for pulling the girl into his lap to accept the cuddles she offered.

Donghyck stared at the uncomfortable looking position the other man was in and wondered how he was able to smile so brightly as if he was perfectly fine.

"What did the doctor say?" His mother asked from behind the counter while glancing at the two now playing on the floor.

"He needs to go back to have his stitches removed next week and then his rehab will start, which would take between three and five months.

He was also told that even once he starts feeling better he shouldn't lift heavy weight for a while, that includes holding Eunbi as well."

"Oh, no. How did he take that? From what I saw he loves carrying her around and showing her all sorts of things. What about picking her up, placing her on her feeding stool or bathing Eunbi?"

Listening to the mothers talk among each other it finally dawned on Donghyck what exactly it meant for the shorter to not be able to lift their daughter.

Staring at the back of the other man he wondered what this meant for them after their mothers left, their well working routine now being useless.

Renjun returned to work on the next Monday attracting the attention of his co-workers with wearing a loose fitting bluse instead of his neat white pressed shirts.

"Good morning sunshine! You look much more alive than a week ago." Jaemin came to his side and offered to make him a coffee since the older didn't have any free hands.

"Has something exciting happened during my absence? How's it going with mister Lee?"

"It's going good, we went bowling yesterday afternoon and then ate dinner at one of those traditional restaurants that serve heavenly dishes for cheap."
