Renjun was examining the self rocking cot that they bought for Eunbi while Donghyuck put away the formulas and other disposable baby necessities.

His mother had left for home after their shopping tour feeling comfortable with leaving the fate of the newborn in the capable hands of Mrs Lee.

The little girl was freshly fed and wrapped up in clean clothes that Mrs Huang had brought that morning.

It nearly shocked her son when she pulled over a huge carrier filled with baby clothes, claiming how she started gathering stuff for her first grandchild on the day his eldest sister got engaged.

How ironic it was that he became a parent first and that his mom's emergency baby stuff indeed came handy.

Deciding to just get the most important things for now their shopping spree had not been too excessive, but still more expensive than expected.

"Where do you think should we put the stroller, since I doubt we'll take her out this soon?" The tan male sat down beside him and handed over a fresh smoothie he just made.

"Thanks. It could stay on the balcony for now before we figure out what to do with the rest of the things. When will the dresser arrive?"

"They said sometime tomorrow morning so for now her clothes could stay in the carrier and tomorrow we'll wash them all before putting them away."

"Sounds good, I'm too tired to do anything today and I still have to bring some of my stuff here for the time being." Renjun sighed and wondered how they managed to get into this mess.

"You seem unexpectedly calm considering the fact that you have to move in with a basically stranger and play family."

"Nah, I'm just too out of it to even think about anything happening because I'm not sure it'll end well. I already messed up my regular schedule for two days and the way it looks like it'll take a long time for me to return to the usual, which honestly terrifies me."

"I understand you completely. Somehow this situation makes me question my life and makes me wonder if I'll have to give up everything that was me just because now I'm a dad."

"I heard that you work a lot outside and rarely have free days so it could get tough once your mom leaves."

"Yeah. By the way, you never told me where you work. I might sound like an asshole but I know shit about you and you're supposed to be my co-parent."

"True. We'll then let's start from the beginning again shall we? My name is Huang Renjun, I'm twenty six years old and work at ND as an interpreter.

My birthday is on march 23rd, my favourite colour is yellow, I have two older sisters, I like working out and am apparently a father."

"Lee Donghyuck, same age, born on the 6th of June, favourite colour is red, am an architect and interior designer and work at my own real estate agency.

I'm an only child and my hobbies mainly consist of drinking with my best friend or going on a ride in my baby, and apparently I'm good at changing diapers."

Both men giggled at how unbelievable their situation was before trying to get a better understanding of each others schedules for the baby duties.

Their chatting and getting to properly know eachother was disturbed by the crackling of the baby monitor signalling that Eunbi had awoken and needed to be fed.

Renjun took out the bottle of milk and warmed it up while the younger strolled to his bedroom where their daughter was put to sleep.

The decision was made by his mother since the king sized bed was more than big enough for all three of them and she could take the guest room.

Donghyuck surprisingly didn't mind sharing his private place with the other two despite being sensitive to smells and preferring his crypt to stay dark 24/7 all year round.

Turning on his mood lamp beside the air cleaner and humidifier he gently climbed on the bed as he stared at the tiny human being that was now moments away from crying.

Carefully reaching out to touch the soft looking pink cheeks his heart almost stopped when the girl opened her eyes and looked at him.

Not once so far did Donghyuck think she was exceptionally pretty or cute, she looked just as wrinkly as every other newborn, but right now he couldn't tear his eyes from her.

The tiny button nose, those pouty lips and the few strands of black hair peaking out from underneath her hat just fascinated him in ways he couldn't describe.

"Do you want to try feeding her?" The soft voice startled him out of his trance and before he could refuse the older already put the lukewarm bottle in his hand.

Looking unsure of what to do Renjun, who had by now fed and wrapped up little Eunbi together with his mom, made him scoot up to the headrest before gently picking up the little burrito and placing her in his lap.

The older sat beside him on the bed and watched the baby lazily suckle on the bottle while staring up at the face of her father before gradually closing her eyes.

Donghyuck just stared at her with sparkling eyes and a goofy smile, feeling enchanted by the little girl and the sounds she kept making while eating.

Renjun observed them too and when he noticed how she stopped eating he placed the towel he brought across the younger's shoulder and helped him make her burp.

The tan male was obviously too far gone to mind the puke, not that he didn't take up the challenge of changing diapers like a big boy earlier.

Leaving the two to bond the older disposed of the dirty towel and washed the nearly empty baby bottle before announcing that he would go to his own apartment to grab some necessities.

By the time he returned Mrs Lee was already in her nightgown sorting trough the pile of baby clothes his mother left while keeping an eye on the baby monitor.

"I'll wash them tomorrow so that we can be sure everything is clean, just take out the ones that are too big for a newborn."

The woman nodded and let him walk through to the bedroom he'd be sharing with Donghyuck for an unpredictable time.

Eunbi's nest was placed in the middle of the mattress and all leftover pillows and blankets were removed from the bed for her safety.

Renjun spotted the net they bought earlier to place above the nest like an extra protection from the blankets and carefully set it up.

"Oh, you're back."

He hummed and didn't really pay attention to the other male that just emerged from the bathroom with damp hair and glasses perched on his nose.

"Which side do you usually sleep on?"

"Left." Donghyuck answered and received a nod in return before he watched the shorter carefully climb under the blankets and make himself comfortable.

Drinking some more water he too slid into bed and turned off the lights, wishing for both of them a good night and hoped for no crying.
