Chapter 2: The Friendship!

The girl now turns the page and put the title card as Chapter 2: The Friendship. She starts to write now...

Dear diary,
It's been four years but still I vividly remember the very first day when I accidentally got to watch that particular serial. ☺️ Who knew that I would call ER1 as my most favourite serial ever, back in 2018. ❤️So today I wanted share with you the very first day I started watching ER1. In the last entry I said that I would never watch it again and then you must be wondering what would have made me go back to the same thing again which I refuted watching due to its pathetic yet shocking storyline. 😔💯
It was the same period of monsoon and my mom used to watch ER1 on a daily basis but in phone. In my home nobody watches tv serials in common except for my mum and me, also we are very content specific when it comes to choosing what serials we watch. So hotstar was our go to app for watching our favourites [I'm a star viewer i.e., I watch contents only that of start plus and star vijay] back then. 😁
On one fine day, I was feeling so bored and was left with nothing interesting to watch so I was scrolling through YouTube and stumbled upon a promo which again made me feel little weird about this serial. 🧐💯
The promo started...
It showed the male character (Vetri) falling from a ladder and correctly the female character (malar) came by that path. For balance he kept his hand on her shoulder, though unintentional and by a way of reflex arc to save himself from falling, not knowing who it was. That's all!! She misunderstood him and gave a tight slap on his face and he was rather quiet on her behaviour and didn't reacted which surprised me again. Also the girl was seen broken and sharing the incident with her best friend and her friend told her that, "Vetri unnakaga enna pannirkaaru nu theriyumaa"?! 🤔🤔
And this was the overall promo which made me slightly curious to know what vetri would have done for malar?! But then I remembered my vow to not watch the show, so I ignored my curiosity and continued with my routine work. But again destiny had its own game plan...😌💯
It was 04 Nov 2018 and I came back from school. By the way, back then I was studying class 11th. Tired and sleepy I thought of sleeping for sometime so I went to my mom's room and here she was watching that serial again. I mused to her that, "Idha neenga innum paathutu irukeengala, mudiyala. Idha eppudi dhaan paakureengalo theriyala". I was trying to sleep but the sound of the serial didn't let me to. Irritated I got up to see what she was seeing with full rage and hate for the serial but immediately my eyes was glued to what was happening now on the screen. 😳💯
I saw that the same best friend of that girl malar was talking to vetri and his friend about their visit to see them with a friendship proposal. And the man vetri was slightly nervous now seeing that girl malar and this girl whos name I got to know was mayilu was urging vetri and malar to become friends. Now my eyes was glued to the screen to see what was happening. And after a push of words by mayilu both vetri and malar hesitently brought their hands and they were about to join it... but boom!!! 💥💥 My mum's phone started to ring and she had to pick the call and so did she. I came back to reality now and now my mind and me started to have a convo:

My mind: (Disappointed) Chaa!! Correct ah indha phone call ippa dhaan varanuma...😒😒

Me: (Blunt) Edhukku unnaku adhu? Adhula enna nadandha unakku enna...Poyi velaiya paaru...po...🧐🧐

My mind: (Curious) I know...I know...Adha serial naa paaka maaten but just oru dhadava andha scene la enna nadandhudhu nu paathukuren...Only that particular scene...because it was good....I felt good...😄😅

Me: (Annoyed) Ennamo panni thola....but adhu onnu mattum dhaan paakanum...🧐🧐

My mind suddenly got so excited and I immediately ran towards my room and sat comfortably in the bed with my phone. Opened hotstar and typed "Eeramana Rojaave" and it came and I clicked opened it...searched that particular episode and started to watch that particular scene where I left. 😁😁
I still remember how vetri and malar hesitantly closed the gap between their hands by joining them with full on hesitation and anxiousness. That man vetri cutely said "friend" and she too said "friend". It was such a good and heart warming scene. Not only that I kinda noticed the genuineness in that man vetri's face through his expressions. The feeling was so good. So my mind wanted to know more now...💯💯
Suddenly my mind remembered that promo scene of malar slapping vetri and mayilu saying to malar. Instantly my mind wanted to know what vetri did for malar?!! With all curiousness I searched for the episode and here I found it...

I clicked it open to see the horror of my life again. Those women i.e., malar's mother-in-law, sisters-in-law are forcing her to consummate her married life with her husband vetri. And I was feeling so bad when that poor girl was crying pathetically hearing all those words from those ladies...🥺😤

Me: How can she?! I mean how can she consummate with that man when she is still grieving the death of her beloved lover maran. I mean this is the worst...🤬🤬

Then without judgements I proceeded and they started to make all arrangements for their nuptail night. But then to my shock and surprise I saw the scene where vetri jumps off from the terrace of his house and breaks his hands to stop their wedding night from happening and that was enough for me to get impressed with that man "VETRI"!! 😳😳

Because I haven't seen something like this in ITV (Indian Television) before. So now I understood what he did for malar and why malar was at least being ready to be friends with vetri. So wanted to now explore more so I again was thinking about which episode to watch next but again boom!! 💥
I'm having my math exam tomorrow so can't help. I closed it up and went to prepare for my upcoming exam.

PS. This is the start of something beautiful yet mesmerizing. ☺️💖 Today I'm writing about this because of this particular scene. To be clear I was not so impressed with this scene but ya! It created a deep impact on my heart and an admiration for the character "VETRI"!! 😄❤️💯

Now the girl slightly giggles thinking about how she herself watched the serial which she told she will not...ever...Then she smoothly turned the next page and put the heading as Chapter 3...
