Chapter 10: Getting to know him!

As the girl puts the next title as Chapter 10: Getting to know him, she gets so thrilled and excited at the very thought of finally writing about the HIM to whom she is an ardent fangirl. Without him she surely can't call herself proudly as a fangirl. A wide smile appeared on her face and her hands can't wait to write in her diary, to pen down her thoughts on getting to know about him for the first time ever. She resumes to write...

Dear Diary,
So far I wrote a lot about Vetri, VM and ER1. My days were happy and I was fully addicted to everything that was happening in the show. But when everything was good, I didn't knew something better was about to come in my life. One fine day out of many, I was watching this particular scene from ER1! The all time goosebumps scene...Yess!! I'm talking about the first "Saamiyaadura moment of Vetri" !! OMGGG! What a performance it was!!!
That was the first time I saw something surreal on a TV show. My mouth dropped open and I was just glued to the screen of my phone. It was a very devotional act.
That was exactly the first time when my mind drifted from the character vetri to the HIM because till then the only thing that mattered to me the most was vetri but that day and especially that performance made me look ahead of that to see who was behind it. As mentioned above, I never really cared about who played vetri because the only thing I wanted to see was V.ET.R.I !! But now there was this conversation that happened between me and my mind:

Me: (Astonished) Ommgg!! Till date I was only concerned with vetri but never really thought about who played it...Who might it be??

My mind: (Impressed) Yes!! Surely we need to get to know who it is. Can't believe someone did such a terrific and divine act on ITV!!!

Me: (Excited) Hey!! Did you remember that particular scene where he also did that beach stunt during the Chennai sequence??

My mind: (Excited) Yaa!! Yaa!! How can I ever forget that. He could have easily denied doing such scenes but he did it!!

Me: (Excited max) Then why wait?! Let's go and find out who it is!!!

My mind: (Thoughtful) Yes! We can google him..

Me: (Happy) Yaayy!! Let's go for it!!

Now back to the real world. I googled the name "Eeramana Rojaave" and went to the Wikipedia Page and boom!! I got that name which became my favourite from then on, till date and forever. Initially when I read it for the first time, I couldn't pronounce it properly but ya, after a kutty struggle to pronouncing it right, I read it for the first time!
So, the name of the HIM was...
"DHIRAVIAM RAJAKUMARAN" !!!!!!
That was it! Now I wanted to know about him more so I went to my newly created Instagram ID to get to know more about him. Thankfully, I stumbled onto one such page which had a collage picture of him crying on maran's death.
And the caption was all about appreciating him for his acting skills and I scrolled down to eventually finding his insta ID...I went inside but nothing was there much...He actually didn't had so many followers back then. But more than his insta ID, I was interested in the fan pages which appreciated his work because there was so much clarity and detailing in the way in which the fans looked at his craft and him as a person.
I was also little surprised to see that he had personally commented for every post by thanking them and humbly reshared some content that prasied him. That particular evening I really enjoyed my cup of tea by scrolling through all the different contents on Vetri where the fans also praised Dhiru for his acting skills and versatility.
One thing I realised was that he is not some ordinary actor but more than that because something about him was special and I was able to connect with him well but didn't knew why was that happening to me. Before ER1 I have watched so many serials both in Hindi and Tamil and was crazily addicted to the well written male leads of ITV but for god's sake I wasn't a fangirl to anybody in general. To be specific I was only liking the Characters of the soap opera but not the person who played it. But this case was different w.r.t. Dhiru!!!
So that was how I gradually started to get to know him as an actor. Now that I knew it was "DHIRAVIAM" who was playing...ohh...sorry... Living the character vetrivel like no one else, my focus from now on was not only about vetri but now my eyes gradually fell on dhiru too! I was quite interested to know him more as a person. But back then I had to wait because what fun will be left if we'll get to know everything about someone on day one itself...So I'm closing this diary entry for today because that was all I did during my initial days of getting to know him. More than his insta ID, I got to know about his craft, gestures and acting skills from his fan pages. My teenage self didn't knew back then that something beautiful is about to come into my life to make me a better human being for lifetime.
