Dear Diary,
It's been four years since it all started and it's been nearly two years since it all ended. But one thing is constant from 2019 that is VM! 😌💯
Yes!! VM!! I never thought that I would be so addicted to an onscreen couple of a tamil serial like that of VM. Ohh!! For anyone who is unaware...VM means Vetri and Malar. They have few other couple names too like #vm #velarvizhi or simply #vetrimalar. 😍💯
I just don't know where to start and what to say about the same. Okay!! So you all know how I started watching ER1 like that friendship scene of VM in the mottamaadi. It was so soothing to heart. I'm seriously astonished to even think about the journey of VM and the various memories that it beholds with it. 💕 The Chennai sequence was the start to the new beginning of VM's life. We had a separate chapter in the #thefangirltales where we discussed about the same. So let me start with the "Mottamaadi" (Terrace) !! Who would have thought that a terrace would play a great role in a couple's life but it did for VM. 🤭💯 From their fights, friendship, understanding each other to seeing shooting stars, realising their love for each other, spending quality time with each other and then how can I forget the quarantine days of VM.
Especially that letter scene of VM where vetri asks malar to pen down her feelings for him and I love the way how she read it with full on shyness, to him admiring her thoughts, feelings and words about him. Also once she completes vetri reads the letter again privately and repeats the word "Malarvizhi Vetrivel" and his blush after that! Ommggg!! What a feel Machan, what a feel! 🤩🙈🙈
Ya! How can I not mention about the birthday sequences of VM! ❤️✨
First Vetri's birthday where malar awaits to wish him first but couldn't. I was just in awe when vetri bends the time as in changes the clock back to 11:55pm just for malar to wish him at 12:00am!! How cute was that?!! 😍😍
Then the next day (Vetri's Bday) will always be cherished. Starting from their bike ride (remember the song Nenjil Maamazhai to Iragai Pole) we can't miss the crackling chemistry between VM.
Next their temple visit, where vetri holds malar's hands and they both climb the temple. How adorable was that!! 😍💕 But lastly vetri oda wrist la adi pattrum andha rowdy aala then hospital scene. But there too we had so many emotional and unforgettable scenes.
Now coming to our malar's birthday celebration, how she cutely waits for vetri with excitement when he returns home the night to her searching it, to getting disappointed and then the morning atrocities of vetri as if he has forgotten her birthday (btw Vetri in that black shirt was just uffff 🖤), to malar getting angry and provoked by Eswari and Pownu, to her going to meet him at the field (vayal), to him surprising her with "The Most Beautiful and Awestruck Gift Ever" !!! Wowww!! 🤩🤩 I was so amazed when I saw her name written in the field and looking it through the drone enhanced the whole beauty. Then the most favourite of all! VM's hug and the speciality of that hug was, it was the first time when malar hugged vetri with all her heart. 🤗That was so cute and emotional for us as fans. Then during that night now cutely vetri admired malar and then his famous "What a feel Machan, what a feel" with his cute expressions...I was just blown out by his cuteness and charm...😍🙈💯
Also whenever we think about VM the "Yercaud" days is a must mention for sure. What a wholistic trip it was!!! Everything from their bus romance with antakshari, to them reaching the venue, their same room with balcony scene, to their first competition of compatibility, I remember how malar answerd the questions honestly when the anchor asked her that did she had any love failure and did vetri knew about her previous love. 😌💯 Vetri's reactions were so heart touching and malar's answer left me impressed. Then cooking competition, to their bahubali devasena costume romance 💝, to their night walk and how can I forget malar calling vetri as MAMA!! That call me mama for 100 times 🙈🙈 How cute was that!! Then their night time romantic moments in the forest camp to vetri lifting malar to win the competition and that terrific cycle race and them winning the Mr and Mrs title...The whole thing after that was just beauty 😍❤️
How can we ever forget the forever most cherished proposal of all time in the history of ITV and even today when I hear the song "Poopol Poopol" I get to remember VM's iconic proposal for sure....😍🙈💕💯 Also the forever romantic consummation scene of VM...I think that was the most romantic consummation scene ever in the Tamil television 📺 (A long awaited one though)...😁🙈💯
If we get to talk about VM then it's a forever story of how two poor souls traumatized by fate had been forced to get into a marital relationship and how they accepted each other to loving one another for eternity accepting each other as they were. 😌❤️🙏 But it all took a hell lot of time for sure...Only we ER1 fans know how long we waited for such a progression to happen in VM's life. 💯✨
The beauty of VM's relationship was that it had a fiduciary capacity. That is the relationship of trust and confidence.
The beauty of being an ER1 fan was that we used to wait for each scene like when will vetri call malar from vaanga ponga to vaa po, then when will they share the same bed, when will malar call vetri as mama, when will VM hug each other, when will vetri kiss malar, when will VM propose each other, when will VM consummate their wedding, when will they have babies etc...This whole waiting process was so soothing and lovely. And the wait was so worth it as well !!! ☺️❤️💯
The beauty was that it was all so gradual and not at all a rushing or frustrating one. Vetri calls malar as "Amaidhiyaana Azhagu" and I totally agree with him. Malar complimented vetri and made his life more meaningful and disciplined. Though some people liked the initial rugged vetri but the vetri that we all saw after he married malar was the one who all girls want for themselves (including me). 🙈🙈 Malar changed vetri for the best.
Similarly, vetri healed malar and made her life happy again. He made her believe in the concept that "there is love and life after every love failure"...She found her solace and serenity in him. Finally at peace after enduring so much in her life in this young age. 😌💕
But if we look at it closely, their change was not a forceful or instant one. Again it was very gradual and came out of understanding and genuine care or love for each other. ☺️❤️ That was the best part. They fell in love with each other on their own (though there were many supporters for them to love each other). But the thing is that "He fell first, but she fell harder" !!
Now coming back to how much I admired VM...As said previously, my day starts with them and ends with them. 😁😁 I was insanely in love with them and I'm till date. I don't know how may times I would've watched each VM scene in my life. Till date I can even identify the VM scenes with the episode numbers (Not all but ya! most of it for sure) Such is my love for VM, Vetri and ER1!!! 🥺❤️✨💯
VM is an emotion for sure!!! ❤️💯 Because there was a certain amount of calmness about their relationship and also there was maturity too. It was fun but at the same time it was sensible too...☺️🤗❤️ I can talk about VM for eternity but I'm unable to find suitable words to express my infinite amount of thoughts and emotions on the same. My love for them will be forever and ever and ever...Like the unbounded sky and the fathom of the ocean...🥺😭❤️💯✨🙏
