I stand there in shock, memories flooding back.

"Uhh, Zelda?" asks Riju, "are you okay? You look a little... weird."

"I'm, uh, fine!" I say, feeling (and looking) a little crazed, "I just, uh- I thought I recognized you from somewhere, Marianna! Umm, I was wrong, though. Anyways, it was really nice meeting you, but I gotta go, umm... talk to Link! About... stuff. Okay, bye!"

I back out of the room, bumping into several pillars as I go, waving to a very confused looking Riju and a very suspicious looking Marianna.

As soon as I'm out of sight, my too-wide smile drops from my face like a weight. I run up the stairs, towards where Link was a few minutes ago, but he's gone. Trying not to panic, I turn the corner into Riju's comfortable bedroom, where Yona is still sleeping, unaware of the danger we're all in.

"Yona!" I whisper-scream, "Yona! Wake up, wake up!"

She jolts awake, taking in my expression, and mirroring it in a sudden alertness.

"She- she's here!" I say, flustered and scared. There is someone inside these walls who wants us all dead, and I'm the only one who knows.

"Who?" says Yona with a calm to match my panic, "who is here, Zelda?"

"Marianna!" I yell, before remembering to keep my voice low, "she's- except that she's Riju's girlfriend, from Kara Kara, but she's not actually, and now we're all gonna die and-"

"Who is Marianna?" says Yona, stopping my rambling.

"The- she's Maya!" I say, definitely panicking, "and she wants us dead!"

Something changes in Yona's face. She understands what situation we're in. If Marianna is here, then who else is? How many Yiga soldiers are there in this town, disguised as travelers, as visiting Gerudo women, as guards?

"Where's Link?" she asks softly, "we need to leave. Right now."

"I don't know," I say, "we need to find him, and everyone. She's with Riju... If he has his Purah Pad, we can go somewhere else. Anywhere else."

"We also need to warn Riju." says Yona, "you said Marianna was the girl from Kara Kara Bazaar?"

"Y-yes... oh. Oh, this is bad. We have to tell Riju that her girlfriend is evil." I mumble.

"I don't think that's the worst thing that's happening right now," says Yona, "focus, okay Zelda? I'll go find Riju and Marianna, and try to keep them occupied. You find Link and the others. Where did you say Marianna was?"

"She and Riju- they're both downstairs, in the throne room." I tell her, "how am I supposed to get to the inn without them seeing me?"

"I don't know," says Yona, pulling on her Gerudo outfit, which is a light lavender color, "but you'd better figure it out soon."

She turns, and with a last look in my direction, heads out the door and towards the leader of the Yiga.

I carefully make my way towards the inn on the canal walls that run over the rooftops in Gerudo town, slippery with dew from the early morning. I eventually give up avoiding the ankle deep water, and just walk through it, my soft silk slippers getting drenched. I race along the flow of the water until I'm finally above the small inn.

Looking frantically around, I notice a thin, rickety pole reaching up from one of the stalls below. I barely think about it before I grab the pole, sliding down it. I'm about half way down, though, before I feel the pole snap under me, and I fall the remaining 4 or 5 feet to the ground.
