Lando POV

"Oscar, i don't know what this is. I think I'm getting ill," he laughs at me."It's not funny," I press onto my chest.

"It's called feelings, Lando it's something people have," I roll my eyes at him.

"I know what feelings are, but I also have a weird sensation in my stomach,"

"They would be Butterflies you like Katherine,"

"I don't like Katherine," he looks at me with raised eyebrows.

"Fine, I might like Katherine," I admit. I was trying my hardest not to even admit it to myself, never mind out loud.

"It's normal to have these feelings. you're just not used to it because you don't do girlfriends,'

"I still don't,"

"Right whatever you say," I don't do girlfriends, and anyway, she was already my girlfriend. It might be fake, but it counts.

My phone starts to ring

"Hello?"

"Hey," I feel myself smiling as soon as I hear her voice. Oscar looks at me, making kissy faces.

"What do I owe the pleasure,"

"I was wondering where you were today,"

"I'm in Monaco,"

"Great, so am I, I'm looking for an apartment. was wondering if you'd help me out? Charles is busy," I stand up, rushing to get my shoes on falling over."Are you okay?"

"Sorry yeah, that was Oscar. Where are you?"

"I'm having lunch outside Hotel Paris,"

"I'll be there soon," I grab my keys, rushing out of my apartment without saying a word to Oscar.

"The famous Fiat Jolley," she smiles as I park up.

"Had to get the best out for you," Why, when it comes to flirting with her, I forget what it is.

"Here's the apartments I've been looking at," I smile when I see the last one.

"You should definitely go for this one," I show her. "It's close to everyone,"

"That's the only one I haven't viewed yet,"

"Let's go then," I start the car, driving over to the apartment block.

The apartment was perfect in my eyes, and I think she thought so too, as her eyes filled with joy.

"I'm guessing you like it,"

"I love it. Max has been telling me to move here for ages. I thought it was finally time,"

"You gonna get this one?" She nods.

"Yeah, I think I am," she starts talking to the real estate agent who hands her some papers to sign.

"It's all mine,"

"Guess we're neighbours,"

"What?"

"My apartment is upstairs,"

"That's why you wanted me to come here?"

"Maybe," she smiles.

"Well, guess that means you have to help me move in,"

"No,"

"Oh please," she gives me puppy dog eyes.

"You're worse than Zander," she didn't give up "fine but don't take me doing this one nice thing as anything,"

"Wouldn't dream of it,"

Katherine POV

Everything had been delivered, and the boys were helping me move in.

"Thank you for bringing everything up, boys." they all head out, leaving me alone.

"Need help sorting everything out?" I turn to see Lando standing at the door Zander at his feet.

"You've already helped enough,"

"I carried a few boxes. I barely did anything,'

"You had Zander,"

"Do you want the help or not?"

"Yes, please," he nods, walking in and grabbing one of the boxes next to me, unpacking it.

It took us a few hours, and it was now dark outside, but we finally did it.

"It looks nice," he says.

"Thank you for helping,"

"Are you hungry?" He asks

"I could eat,"

"Shall we order in, or do you want to go out?"

"We can go out and get some fresh air," he nods, grabbing the lead.

"We can't leave Zander," he bends down, hooking the lead onto his collar, and puts his hand out.

"We have to act like a couple, right?" I take his hand we walk through the streets of Monaco. Some recognise us, but most of them stayed away just taking photos from a far. We sat and had dinner. I couldn't help but stare at him.

I never realised how handsome he was until recently he turned to me and smiled.

"I like catching you staring at me,"

"Shut up," I blush.

"Don't be shy, I stare at you too,"

"Do you like dancing?" I ask out of nowhere.

"No,"

"So why do you dance with me?"

"Because you like dancing," he looked at me.

"You danced because I like to dance," he nods.

"I've got to play nice, right?" Was all of this pretend to him? I couldn't fall for him. I'd only get my heart broken he doesn't do girlfriends he only sees me as a friend if we're even that

"That's what friend do, right? Play nice?" I say I thought I saw him gulp but must have been in my head.

"Right friends,"

I knew I had feelings for him, but I also knew they couldn't ever come out. I'd look like a fool, and I swore to myself that I'd never let a man make me look like a fool again.
