Australian Grand Prix Week
Katherine POV
"You look more alive," Daniel says as he reaches me.
"Thanks," I mumble.
"I told you not to get the chicken," Max says.
"I didn't think I'd get food poisoning," I say.
"Did she get the chicken?" Charles asks, making his way over to us.
"She did,"
"I feel fine now. Have you seen Lando,"
"Think he's in his drivers room," I nod.
"I'll catch you guys later then," I say, walking towards Mclaren.
"Katherine," Zac says, smiling at me.
"Zac, mind if I go through to Lando?"
"Not at all, just a warning. He's not in a good mood after qualifying," i nod thanking him and make my way over knocking on the door.
"Will, I told you to leave me alone," I open the door, and his head shoots up.
"Do I look like Will?"
"Definitely not," he says. I lock the door, making my way over to him.
"You okay,"
"Better now you're here," he looks up at me. "How come you're here? You normally speak with Simon after qualifying,"
"Well, I thought we could tick another off the list," his eyes light up.
"Right now?" I nod. He pulls me down on to him.
"Stay quiet for me?" I nod.
~~~~~~~
"As amazing as this was, I don't think it tops the car," he says as I get dressed.
"I think the car is at the top," After getting dressed, I lay next to him.
"You feeling better now?"
"Alot better,"
"You look it." I smile at him.
~~~~~~
Race day I was on pole, so I was hoping my race went smoothly.
"Good luck," Lando says, kissing me before getting in his car. I slip my helmet on getting into mine.
"It's lights out and away we go,"
"Your pace is good. Keep pushing. " I look in my mirror. Max was close behind.
"How does the car feel, Kat?"
"It feels okay why,"
"Max is having problems,"
"Is he alright?" As soon as I say that, my wheel locks up.
"Shit,Simon, my wheels locked up,"
"Can you continue," I was getting deja vu.
Before I could answer my wheel turns, Max crashes into me, and we flip over into the barrier.
"Katherine!" Was the last thing I heard.
Lando POV
"Lando, there's a crash before the pit lanes it's been red flagged,"
"Is it bad?"
"It looks pretty bad. Please come in,"
"Who is it?" I ask.
"Max," he lets out, "it's Max and Katherine," he says. I turned my head, and seeing the crash at the side of me, it was bad, really bad. Katherine's car was upside down, and pretty much in half, Max was in the wall. The bad part of his car gone completely.
