"Alright, keep your hair on! It's me, Arthur!" -he yelled as he emerged from the bushes with his hands in the air.
Charlotte was not in the slightest shocked to see him there.
"You can't sneak by my senses, Arthur." -she explained as she let go of her revolver.
"Arthur you fool! I was worried Charlotte was gonna shoot you!" -John explained in a worried tone. Arthur by now has walked up to the two.
"All that aside, I know why you've been following us, so no need to explain." -she said as she put one of her hands on her hips. They talked for a few more minutes before agreeing that they should get back to camp.

They do end up going back but on the way there...
"I'm sorry about what happened to your wolf, Miss." -Arthur said to her as all three of them were riding their horses next to each other with Charlotte being in the middle. She smiled slightly and felt as if a part of her was missing and nothing could fill the void.
"Thank you for your support. I'm thanking the both of you." -she explained as she looked back and forth between Arthur and John. John scratched the back of his head and smiled. "All I hope now is that they don't find my parents." -she added as she looked ahead.
"Let's hope they don't." -John reassured her.

After arriving in camp they got off their horses and walked in, with Charlotte being ahead of them.
Javier came rushing towards her.
"Where have you been? I was worried about you señorita!"
"I...appreciate your concern, but as you can see, I'm fine." -she tried to not show the discomfort that Javier was causing to her. Then all of a sudden Micah just walked in on the conversation.
"I heard you was up in those mountains again. What was you doing there?" -Micah leaned forward as he asked.
"Didn't you know what happened?" -Charlotte questioned as she crossed her arms.
"Oh- yeah right. I almost forgot."

"Oh just shut up and get outta here." -Arthur interjected. "We can not afford to tolerate your presence here right now, Micah." -he added as he gently pushed him.
"Huh, didn't know you was that poor." -he replied in a sassy tone.
"Look, it would make us feel better if you was on the other side of camp right about now." -John explained. Micah laughed but left them alone in the end.

"Charlotte, I've been meaning to-" -Javier wanted to say to her but she interjected.
"Would everyone just...leave me be??" -she said in a frustrated tone as she rushed away.
"...what did we do wrong?" -Javier asked confused.
"Just...give her some time, Javier." -Arthur said as he patted him on his shoulders before walking by him.
Charlotte stormed into her tent and shut the cloth door behind herself before falling on her bed.

'Just leave me be, god damn it! Why does everyone want to know what I've been doing?!'
She thought to herself as she punched her pillow. Then she heard footsteps that stopped by her door.
"Can I come in...?" -asked a familiar voice.
Charlotte sighed but agreed.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you."
"No, John...you're not." -she said as she sat up on her bed. "There's room here if you want to sit." -she patted the place next to her on the bed. So he did sit down next to her.
Charlotte ended up telling John her whole story about the wolf and shared some more details before she made it into the gang.
