At night, around the campfire were Javier and Micah.Micah saw Javier's sadness and decided to address what was written all over Javier's face.
"I'm sure you've expected something else tonight, did you not?" -he questioned him as he leaned forward slightly while sitting on the log. Javier looked up at him from the ground and sighed.
"You're not the one to talk, Micah." -he stated firmly as he gave Micah a cold look.Micah laughed it off.
"Oh ho, am I really not?" -he continued to laugh evilly.
"Just...leave me be." -Javier said, grabbing his guitar before he stood up from the ground and went over to the rock that Strauss tends to sit on near the edge of the cliff. Micah shrugged and just threw more logs in the fire to keep it alive.

It was a starry night with the temperature being tolerable, not too cold and not too warm. Javier sat there, alone in the night, playing his guitar and humming a melancholic song. All of a sudden, a twig snapped in half behind him.
"Guess you now know that I'm here." -he said softly, trying to not disrupt Javier's performance.
He walked next to Javier and stopped beside him.
"What do you want...?" -Javier turned his head left and looked up at him.
"I just came to talk to you. If you don't mind." -he said.
"Well, okay. What's the matter, Arthur?"
"You've been seeming very down lately. Can I ask what's the reason behind that?" -he questioned as he looked at Javier.

Javier sighed and began explaining the situation.
"...oh. I know how you feel." -Arthur said in a sad tone before he patted Javier's shoulders. "I'm sure you gonna find another woman to love." -he added.
"I wish I could be this optimistic about it as you are." -he smiled slightly while he was looking ahead of himself. "Anyway, thank you for listening, Arthur." -Javier added as he looked up at him.
"All good, though now I feel like I need some rest. So, good night Javier." -he said to him as he waved at him. Javier did the same before grabbing his guitar and heading off to his tent.
As Arthur stepped inside the tent, he saw John writing in his journal.
"Oh, what are you writing about?" -he curiously asked. John immediately shut the book with a surprised look on his face.

"Nothing, really." -he quickly replied."Ah. I must be seeing things then." -he joked.
"Alright, alright. I'm writing about...her."
Arthur's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"And what exactly?" -he stepped closer to John.
"How I'm so close to finally telling her! I just need to look for the best moment to say it to her." -John explained before he put down his journal on the bedside table.
"I hope everything goes well. I mean, even a fool could see the way she looks at you." -Arthur whispered jokingly before he sat down on his bed.

"Stop it, Arthur." -he replied laughing.
"What? I'm just telling the truth over here!" -he further added.
"Okay okay." -John said, still laughing. "But for now, let's sleep." -he added. Arthur nodded, laid down on his bed, and covered himself with a fur blanket. John did the very same a few moments later and both of them fell asleep rather quickly.
