Third Person POV:

Max and Lucas swam to the surface, popped their heads above the water.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Lucas asks.

"We need to find Mike, it's the only option," Max says, before shifting into a human. Her gills closed and disappeared, the scales on his chest transformed into a T-shirt, and her tail shimmered into legs with a pair of shorts.

She crawls out of the water, clumsily standing. Her clothes almost instantly dried. Lucas sighs before doing the same.

"Where should we even go?" Lucas asks.

Max turned to the sound of many humans, she looked down the beach and saw the shopping stalls. "Why not there?" She asks.

Lucas trips as he takes one step, and Max barely catches herself. "How do humans use these things?" Lucas mutters. He stands up again, carefully taking steps. "How is this helpful on land, with all this gravity."

"I have no idea," Max says, starting to get used to standing and taking a few steps.

They practice and figure out how to walk quickly, faster than Mike did. "Alright, now let's go," Max says, and the two walk down to the humans.

As they enter the area, a human comes up to them. Max tenses, ready to fight. "Would you like some Daisy Sweets?" They offered. "Or maybe a Lily cake?" Max stares at the man in bewilderment.

"Um, no thanks, Mr." Lucas says politely, tugging his girlfriend farther into the shops.

"Hey! You!" Another human says, rushing up to them. "Care for some sunglasses to shield from the burning star in the sky? Only seven dollars a piece!"

Max and Lucas shake their heads. "Why would Mike be here?" Lucas says. "He hates loud noises."

The two began the troublesome task of avoiding every salesperson that came across them.

It was quite hard, but soon they got to the middle of the shopping place, a circular area with a fountain in the middle. Children were dancing around, playing Ring-around-the-rose or tag. Max and Lucas watched everyone before exchanging a glance.

A little girl, maybe five or six, runs up to Max. "Hey misses!" She says. "Would you like to play tag with us?"

Max shakes her head. The girl pouts, but almost immediately brightens when one of her friends tags her, and she goes running off again.

"Goodness, children these days," An old man smoking a pipe a few feet away from them says.

Then, out of the corner of Lucas's eyes, he spots a tall ravenette. He spins around, tapping Max's shoulder. Mike and Will were walking through, speaking to each other. Mike was kind of twirling and spinning around the brunette, but Will didn't seem to mind, in fact, it looked like Will was enjoying it.

"Who the hell is that?" Max questions.

"Huh? Whatchu say, dear?" An old woman hunched over her cane with glasses asks, hobbling over to the two.

Lucas and Max exchange glances. "Um, we were wondering who that boy over there was," Lucas says, pointing at Will.

"Huh? Oh right," The old woman adjusts her glasses. "That's the young deary of the kingdom, William. That little one's gonna rule this whole place one day," She swings her cane around, and Lucas has to dodge from being hit. "Such a kind boy though."

"Gosh darn you, Janet!" Another old man says. "All your talk about royalty and you still haven't made your move in this here poker game!"

Lucas and Max exchange glances again before following the two boys, letting the old people talk.
