Silhouette checked to make sure Leafy was asleep before quietly sliding the window open and crawling through. She sat on the rooftop and gazed up at the stars. The beautiful depth of the night sky. She sat on the roof for at least an hour, at peace with the world. To her surprise, a cat landed next to her sometime in the night.

"Tito?" She asked. "What are you doing here?"

Tito smiled. "Hey, Silhouette," he said. "I thought I might find you up here. You seem like the type to appreciate the nighttime."

Silhouette narrowed her eyes. "If you're implying something, then spit it out, Tito."

"Very well. I know why you're here. And you need to stop looking."

Tito sat still for a moment, and then bounded away. "Is that all?" Silhouette hissed. "I met your sister! She's very weird!" She let out a growl of annoyance. The window opened, and Silhouette turned around to find Luna crawling out.

"Hey, Sil," Luna said. "Mind if I sit with you tonight?"

"Not at all."

Luna leaned slightly against Silhouette's side. "The sky is so pretty. I could stare at it all night." Silhouette smiled. So could she. So the two stayed up until early in the morning, watching the sky slowly brighten. "I'm heading in," Luna said. "Honestly, I don't know why I don't do this every night."

——

"Hey! Luna!" Silhouette whispered.

Luna stirred. "Yeah?" She asked.

"Astronomy. And you fell asleep again."

Luna gave Silhouette what seemed to be a sheepish grin. "Sorry. MaybebI shouldn't stay up that early."
